This is a small in-house shop focused on prototype and custom component work — not high-vo<strong>lume</strong> production. You'll operate and maintain CNC and manual machines working primarily with mild steel, alloys, and aluminum.</h4>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Hourly: $28.00 - $34.00 DOE</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Medical, Dental, Vision, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, Basic Life Insurance Provided with Premium Cost Share between employer and employee.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>401k and Roth contribution with company match eligibility.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Vacation and Sick Leave accrual in accordance with company plans.</strong></p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Set up and operate CNC lathes and CNC mills/machining centers</li>\n <li>Perform manual mill and lathe work as needed</li>\n <li>Build custom parts to print or specification</li>\n <li>Read and interpret blueprints including weld symbols and tolerances</li>\n <li>Write and edit lathe and mill programs using G&M code, (preferred but not required)</li>\n <li>Use MasterCam to program CNC mill and lathe operations, (preferred but not required)</li>\n <li>Set up tooling, touch off tools, and bore jaws as required</li>\n <li>Perform routine maintenance on all machining equipment; coordinate non-routine repairs with Shop Superintendent</li>\n <li>Maintain a clean, organized, and productive work environment</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Bring</h2>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum one (1) years CNC experience in a professional shop setting</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints including weld form symbols and fillet specifications</li>\n <li>Proficiency in basic G&M code — ability to alter programs to meet design criteria</li>\n <li>Experience with CNC lathe setup including loading programs, tool touch-off, and jaw boring</li>\n <li>Ability to lift 50–70 lbs regularly throughout shift</li>\n <li>Forklift experience</li>\n <li>Over the ankle safety-toed boots</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>2–3 years CNC experience preferred</li>\n <li>MasterCam experience or certification</li>\n <li>Experience with alloys and aluminum</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Get</h2>\n<p>Crux Subsurface is a geotechnical and foundation construction company operating across the U.S. and into Canada.
