Reporting to the Property &amp; Systems Lead, this role focuses primarily on general property maintenance, repairs, groundskeeping, and operational support in a remote wilderness environment.</p>\n<p>This is a hands-on position requiring adaptability, practical maintenance skills, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to work in a dynamic northern setting.</p>\n<p>Seasonal staff may also support guest-facing operations or guiding activities when operationally appropriate and when property maintenance priorities are fully covered.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">What You’ll Be Doing</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Property &amp; Facility Maintenance</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform routine repairs and upkeep across lodge buildings, guest cabins, and staff accommodations</li>\n<li>Complete basic carpentry, painting, patching, and minor repair work</li>\n<li>Support preventative maintenance programs for lodge facilities and property assets</li>\n<li>Maintain organized, clean, and safe workspaces</li>\n<li>Identify and report maintenance concerns requiring escalation</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Groundskeeping &amp; Exterior Maintenance</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform snow removal and ice management around operational areas</li>\n<li>Maintain trails, outdoor spaces, docks, decks, and access routes</li>\n<li>Cut, split, stack, and transport firewood</li>\n<li>Support seasonal setup and maintenance of outdoor infrastructure</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Operational Support</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with freight handling and material movement</li>\n<li>Support lodge setup and operational readiness during guest changeovers</li>\n<li>Assist contractors and external service providers working on site</li>\n<li>Support general operational projects as required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Safety &amp; Team Collaboration</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Follow safe work practices and company procedures</li>\n<li>Support environmental stewardship and waste management initiatives</li>\n<li>Work collaboratively within a small remote lodge team</li>\n<li>Assist other departments during peak operational periods</li>\n<li>Support guest-facing or guiding activities when operationally appropriate</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">What We’re Looking For</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>General maintenance, labour, or property upkeep experience</li>\n<li>Ability to safely use hand and power tools</li>\n<li>Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physical work outdoors</li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability</li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and within a team</li>\n<li>Comfortable living and working in a remote northern environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Assets</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carpentry, construction, painting, or general trades experience</li>\n<li>Previous remote lodge, camp, hospitality, or outdoor operations experience</li>\n<li>Experience operating small equipment or power tools</li>\n<li>Valid driver’s licence</li>\n<li>First Aid certification</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">What We Offer</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive seasonal compensation</li>\n<li>Travel to and from the lodge provided</li>\n<li>Room and board while on site</li>\n<li>Opportunity to work in a unique remote wilderness environment</li>\n<li>Hands-on experience within a dynamic operations team</li>\n<li>Opportunities for cross-training and operational development</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Working Conditions</span></p>\n<p>This position is based at a remote wilderness lodge in the Northwest Territories and requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme cold.
