We have a wonderful community equally focused on </span><span>facilitating</span><span> great learning and nurturing</span><span> our </span><span>students’</span><span> learning habits, whilst ensuring that each young person experiences the love and care they deserve.</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span><a href=\"https://www.norwest.nsw.edu.au/our-college/seed-academy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span>Norwest </span><span>Seed Academy</span></a><span> </span><span>is our Norwest Christian College </span><span>Co</span><span>-curricular studies academy which focuses on </span><span>providing students with</span><span> the opportunity to equip and empower themselves to pursue their purpose. </span><span>Norwest </span><span>Seed Academy</span><span> incorporate</span><span>s</span><span> our music</span><span>, </span><span>dance,</span><span> </span><span>arts</span><span> </span><span>and </span><span>sporting</span><span> </span><span>program</span><span>.</span><span> The Academy </span><span>function</span><span>s</span><span> both during school hours and outside of school</span><span> hours. </span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span><span>We are </span><span>currently </span><span>seeking</span><span> to a</span><span>ppoint a </span></span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Percussion </span><span>and Drum </span><span>Tutor</span></span></span><span><span> to</span><span> inspire both our current students an</span><span>d those from outside the College</span><span>.  </span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span><span>S</span><span>uccessful candidate</span><span>s</span><span> will be able to </span><span>demonstrate</span><span> at interview <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with that faith, including an active commitmen</span></span><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">t to a Christian fellowship</span>. </span><span>The successful candidate must:</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>have </span><span>appropriate </span><span>qualifications/experience</span><span> to </span><span>teach</span><span> </span><span>students</span><span>;</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>have the ability to</span><span> teach drums as well as </span><span>orchestral </span><span>tuned percussion,</span><span> and auxiliary percussion;</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>have the ability to</span><span> teach students music notation reading</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>have the ability to</span><span> </span><span>teach</span><span> students from 3 to 18 years of age;</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>have </span><span>excellent </span><span>skills in communicating </span><span>with students and parents;</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>be willing to contribute to the development of performance opportunities</span><span> held at Norwest Christian College as required by the </span><span>Director of Seed Academy</span><span>; and,</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span>have their own ABN and the capacity to </span><span>operate</span><span> as an independent contractor.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Candidates shortlisted for interview will be expected to provide a <span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Working with Children Check</span> clearance number or clearance letter. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Applications close Friday, 5 June 2026.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Those who progress to the interview stage will need to be available for an interview the week of Monday, 8 June 2026.</span></span></p>\n<p> </p>",
