SUMMARY
Are you a motivated, people-focused professional with a passion for helping others find their perfect home? Windward Communities ( Penfield Farms ) , in Rochester, NY is looking for a Community Sales Manager who thrives in a dynamic environment and is excited to promote the Windward lifestyle.
In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of our community—guiding prospective residents through the home buying and rental process, showcasing the unique benefits of our neighborhoods, and delivering exceptional customer experiences every step of the way.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Drive day-to-day sales activities. Create a welcoming and professional environment for all visitors, making a strong first impression. Maintain and update the Salesforce CRM, ensuring all customer interactions are accurately documented and lead data is clean, current, and actionable. Manage and update online home listings, including pricing, photos, and descriptions. Shadow the Sales Manager to learn the full sales process and understand the ‘Windward Way’. REQUIRED SKILLS
High School Diploma Relationship building and ability to build rapport with employees, customers and residents. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Financial and administrative acumen Analytical skills – ability to use data to anticipate challenges and assist with developing strategic action plans. Agile and highly adaptable mindset, with the ability to pivot quickly in response to evolving business needs. Strong tech/digital skills (navigating websites, spreadsheets, email, and other tools) A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and automobile insurance.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Previous experience in Sales and/or Customer Service role (highly desired) Existing knowledge and experience with Excel and Salesforce (highly desired) Knowledge and/or experience within the Multi-family living industry (sales, service, administration) Manufactured Housing industry experience not required
