Direct press team to assist with tasks associated with die setting to make this task as efficient as possible.</li></ul><p>Summary of essential job functions</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Inspect all dies before setup to ensure no foreign debris is on the top or bottom of the die.</li><li>Remove, install, and align and progressive and/or transfer dies and material coils in mechanical power press according to specifications / instructions.</li><li>Adjust ram stroke to specified length.</li><li>Ensure 1<sup>st</sup> off pieces are disposed of properly in red buckets and that finished goods containers are not able to have suspect parts go into them (conveyor diversion, etc.).</li><li>Start presses to produce finished goods and observe operations to detect malfunctions and to verify press set-up conforms to specifications and to obtain 1<sup>st</sup> piece sample(s).</li><li>Review 1<sup>st</sup> piece samples visually for defects and then use check fixture to confirm 1<sup>st</sup> pieces are ready for quality approval.</li><li>Call Quality Auditor for 1<sup>st</sup> piece verification and review findings with auditor.&nbsp;</li><li>Inspect equipment, dies or materials to help troubleshoot and identify the cause of errors, other problems or defects.</li><li>Complete the necessary paperwork / Plex requirements.</li><li>May be required to operate a press when necessary.</li><li>Provide proper training to any and all team members who are assigned to Large Press Area.</li><li>Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.&nbsp;</li><li>Authority to stop production in the event unsafe parts or conditions appear.&nbsp;</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor and/or Manager, which may be outside the scope of responsibilities noted above.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Minimum requirements</strong></p><ul><li>A high school education or equivalent with one (1) year minimum experience in die-setting or related technical field, preferably in a metal stamping environment.</li><li>Read, interpret and comprehend safety, operating and maintenance documents and procedures.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to pass mechanical aptitude test.</li><li>Ability to operate power press.</li><li>Ability to pass die setter training program.</li><li>Ability to obtain/retain an Industrial Powered Lift Truck certification.</li><li>Ability to obtain/retain an Overhead Crane certification.</li><li>Ability to obtain/retain a Lock out/Tag out Authorization certification.</li><li>Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to ensure delivery requirements. &nbsp;</li><li>Lift up to fifty (50) pounds.&nbsp;</li><li>Meet or exceed the job requirements of the job.</li><li>Identified candidates must be able to work overtime (daily, weekends and holidays).</li></ul>\n    </div>\n  </div></div>\n",
