    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>ATCO Frontec is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Resolute Bay, Nunavut. The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment used in the construction and maintenance of roads, buildings and other structures as well as material handling work.</p><p>This position is based on a 4 week on, 4 week off work rotation with travel, accommodation, and meals are provided.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dump trucks, backhoes, bulldozers, loaders and graders to excavate, move, load and grade earth, rock, and gravel</li><li>Operate snow blowers and plough trucks to remove snow from roads and parking lots</li><li>Operate heavy equipment to spread or compact road surface materials during road construction and maintenance</li><li>Operate heavy equipment to move, load and unload cargo</li><li>Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and clean, lubricate and refill equipment<br>Qualifications:</li><li>Minimum 3-5 years of experience operating heavy equipment is required</li><li>Valid class 3 driver's license is required</li><li>Clean driver's abstract/record is required</li><li>Must be able to pass an extensive background check, drug &amp; alcohol test, and fit-to-work test</li><li>Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance</li><li>Ability to operate with minimum supervision</li><li><p>Excellent communication and customer service skills</p><p>We would like to thank everyone for their application; however, only those being considered for an interview will be contacted.</p></li></ul><p>Collection, use, and retention of personal information will be in accordance with ATCO Group privacy policies and practices.</p><p>By submitting your resume and personal information to the ATCO Group of Companies, and/or participating in a personal interview, you acknowledge and consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information by the ATCO Group of Companies to determine your suitability for employment opportunities within the ATCO Group of Companies.</p><p>Who is ATCO Frontec?</p><p>ATCO Frontec is a market leader providing facilities management, camp services, workforce lodging solutions, operational support services and disaster and emergency management for a diverse range of clients.
