    "description": "<h2> </h2>\n<p>Weston & Sampson has an immediate opening for a Geotechnical Project Manager with 10+ years of experience in our Rocky Hill, CT office. The candidate must have comprehensive experience with geotechnical analyses including slope stability, settlement, and soil/structure interaction, development of appropriate foundation and site-related geotechnical recommendations, and report preparation. Field experience associated with subsurface investigations and earthwork construction is required. </p>\n<h2> </h2>\n<p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for project management; preparation of proposals, complex technical reports, specifications, and construction drawings.</li>\n <li>Managing and reviewing work of junior staff and mentoring.</li>\n <li>Some travel will be required to client meetings and project sites.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What you’ll bring:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>MS with concentration in Geotechnical Engineering.</li>\n <li>Minimum 10 years of diverse and proven geotechnical experience.</li>\n <li>Experience with CAD, dam safety engineering, seepage analyses, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling related to dams is a plus</li>\n <li>Familiar with geotechnical aspects of Building Codes and Design Manuals.</li>\n <li>Strong construction experience.</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Strong leadership and decision-making skills. </li>\n <li>Must be motivated, responsible, and able to work independently.</li>\n <li>PE certification is required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Salary Range: $120,000-$160,000k </p>\n<p>#LI-Hybrid</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Weston & Sampson is an 100% employee-owned, full-service environmental and infrastructure consulting firm made up of more than 1000 professionals, who work together to develop innovative, cost-effective solutions for our clients.
