Job Summary
ETSU’s Advancement department is seeking a Technology Coordinator. Responsible to the AVP for Advancement Services, the Technology Coordinator works with the Technology Manager to support Advancement operations through reporting, dashboard development, testing, data conversion, and ongoing maintenance of the Advancement database to support ETSU’s fundraising efforts.
The Technology Coordinator is an integral member of the Advancement Services team and is cross-trained to assist with daily transactional duties as needed. This position serves as a front-line responder to data requests using the CRM Advanced Find tool and other SQL-based reporting tools. Data may be requested by internal and external customers and provided in spreadsheets, graphs, dashboards, and other formats.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Basic knowledge of programming languages, specifically SQL; proficiency with spreadsheets. Ability to move data between different programs and formats using import and export software. Experience developing and testing database queries. Knowledge of basic accounting principles, policies, and procedures. Ability to translate technical concepts to functional users. Ability to manage several projects simultaneously to meet deadlines. Ability to communicate effectively in written documents and oral presentations. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Qualifications
