As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of our facilities and equipment. Your main goal will be to prevent equipment downtime and minimize repair costs. You will work closely with other members of the maintenance team to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Your work will be critical to the success of our organization.</p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>2+ years of experience in a maintenance role</li><li>basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry</li><li>Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Certification in a relevant trade (e.g. plumbing, electrical, carpentry)</li><li>Experience with HVAC systems</li><li>Experience with commercial kitchen equipment</li><li>Experience with commercial laundry equipment</li><li>Experience with boiler equipment</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Performing preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities</li><li>Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems</li><li>Performing carpentry, plumbing, electrical wiring, drywall, and painting tasks</li><li>Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair work</li><li>Collaborating with other members of the maintenance team to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard</li><li>providing your own hand tools to perform all your necessary duties</li></ul><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><p>As a Maintenance Technician, you will use your strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems. You will also use your carpentry, plumbing, electrical wiring, drywall, and painting skills to perform a variety of maintenance tasks.
