You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of fiberglass production while adhering to safety and environmental standards.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Your Responsibilities Will Be</strong></p>\n<p>This job description represents only the primary areas of responsibility; specific position assignments will vary depending on the needs of the department.</p>\n<p>To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily.  Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment and assembly processes related to fiberglass production, ensuring that production targets are consistently met. </li>\n <li>Actively participate in production and productivity meetings to discuss performance, address challenges, and implement improvements. </li>\n <li>Set up tools and machines specifically for fiberglass production runs, including fiber layup and cutting of raw and hardened materials. </li>\n <li>Read and interpret blueprints accurately, with a strong emphasis on tape measure reading and fractional measurements to ensure precision in fiberglass component fabrication. </li>\n <li>Inspect fiberglass components and finished products for quality, documenting measurements and pass/fail criteria as per company standards. </li>\n <li>Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtime. </li>\n <li>Document production data, including scrap rates, equipment downtime, and any process deviations to maintain accurate records. </li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards specific to fiberglass fabrication, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). </li>\n <li>Undertake additional duties and tasks as assigned to support the fiberglass fabrication team. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>\n <li>Preferred experience in manufacturing, specifically within fiberglass or composite fabrication, or assembly processes. </li>\n <li>Basic mechanical skills, including proficiency with hand tools and measurement devices relevant to fiberglass work. </li>\n <li>Strong ability to read tape measures and work with fractional measurements in relation to blueprint specifications. </li>\n <li>Familiarity with safety protocols related to fiberglass handling and production. </li>\n <li>Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with all levels of staff and clients effectively. </li>\n <li>Willingness to work extended hours as needed to meet project deadlines. </li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, including those without a technical background. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>ADA REQUIREMENTS</u></strong></p>\n<p>Work Environment This position is based in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, moving equipment and other standard industrial conditions, and is required to wear to personal protective equipment (PPE). </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Physical Demands Positions in this function typically require standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
