Description
Position Summary:
The New Staff Liaison plays a vital role in welcoming and supporting our new staff in their first year at Mulgrave.
The Liaison is responsible for the following :
Attending our two-day orientation for new hires in August
Be available to answer questions
Report any serious issues/concerns to HR or manager/supervisor
Be a resource on workplace culture and norms, policies and procedures
Help build their sense of belonging
Helping them socialise with peers, joining them for lunch etc.
Ongoing support throughout the year
Arrange new-cohort specific training during CPT
Greet new staff member on their first day (if timetable allows and if joining the school mid-year)
Check in with new hires to make sure they are feeling comfortable in the school and outside school. Answer questions.
This position comes with a $2,500 annual stipend and carries a time release of 3 hours per two-week cycle.
