The Control Room Supervisor will support the Dallas Museum of Art’s mission as a responsible steward of cultural heritage, as well, as a trusted advocate for the essential place of art in the lives of people locally and around the globe. The person in this role exemplifies the DMA’s vision, core values and strategic priorities.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Primary Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Using the Equipment Tracking Form, issues and collects radios, keys and counters at the beginning and end of the work shift to Security staff.</li><li>Monitors keys that have been issued to Control Room Officers.</li><li>Assists the Visitor Services team with complaints from visitors.</li><li>Responds immediately to all emergencies.</li><li>Initiates standard Dallas Museum of Art procedures for emergencies.</li><li>Patrols all interior and exterior Museum spaces.</li><li>Supervises Security staff to ensure they are performing their duties on the floors, grounds and all Museum spaces.</li><li>Collects facts and eye-witness information for incidents occurring in the museum.</li><li>Writes incident reports regarding incidents occurring in the museum.</li><li>Delivers incident reports to the Director of Security.</li><li>Creates and promptly delivers Employee Injury/Accident Reports to Human Resources for Workers Compensation/Insurance claims management.</li><li>Works special events outside of normal museum operating hours.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Security.</li></ul><p><br></p>",
