The Machine Operator will be responsible for working from shop drawing, procedures and/or other written, verbal, or electronic instruction, perform a wide variety of operations. Produces parts by programming, setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine. Our facility is located at <strong>45 Sutton Road | Verona, VA | 24482.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Starting Pay:  </strong>$23.50/hour</p>\n<p><strong>Shift Differential:</strong> $1.50/hr.</p>\n<p><strong>3rd Shift Schedule:</strong> Monday-Thursday 7:30pm-6:00am</p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Training Schedule:</strong> 1st shift, Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm (approx. 2-4 weeks)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Pay Schedule:</strong> Bi-weekly</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Machine Operator </strong><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Plans machining by reading, interpreting, understanding, and working from blueprints, schematics, bills of material, routing sheets, labor summaries and other written, electronic, or verbal instruction.</li>\n <li>Work with a variety of ferrous, non-ferrous and alloy materials.</li>\n <li>Programs equipment by entering instructions, setting tool registers, offsets, and compensation.</li>\n <li>Sets up equipment by installing and adjusting tools, attachments, heads, etc.</li>\n <li>Maintains specifications by observing, taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting, adjust and/or programming controls.</li>\n <li>Maintains equipment by completing operator maintenance requirements, following manufacturers and/or company instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions and/or calling for repairs.</li>\n <li>Maintain required records in either written or electronic form.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Machine Operator Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred</li>\n <li>3 to 5 years’ previous experience in an industrial environment preferred.</li>\n <li>Arm/hand steadiness</li>\n <li>Manual Dexterity</li>\n <li>Perform work in various physical positions including standing, kneeling, bending, and reaching</li>\n <li>Close vision, distant vision, color vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus and hand-eye coordination.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Joining Wieland’s team gives you…</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Benefits</strong> - Including Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life & more!</li>\n <li><strong>Retirement Savings</strong> - 401(k) contribution + match.</li>\n <li><strong>Work/Life Balance</strong> - Paid Vacation & Holidays.</li>\n <li><strong>Growth Opportunities</strong> - We have over 9,000+ employees worldwide and 40+ locations in North America alone.
