With a resident-first philosophy paired with a long-term vision approach to our properties.<p><br></p><p>We are hiring for <strong><em>Make Ready Technician</em></strong> who performs general maintenance and repair work to ensure that property facilities and vacated apartments are in good working condition and restored to &ldquo;make ready&rdquo; status, preparing the apartment for new residents in a timely manner. &nbsp;</p><p><br><strong><em>What you will do:</em></strong></p><ul><li>Complete Make Ready units assigned by Maintenance Manager or Supervisor</li><li>Assist Maintenance Supervisor with monitoring inventory of parts and supplies and appropriate levels</li><li>Communicate effectively with residents when on-call</li><li>Perform turnkey work</li><li>Remove and discard any debris or trash from Make Ready units</li><li>Diagnose problems with household appliances, plumbing, electric, carpentry, and HVAC &nbsp;</li><li>Performs basic repairs on household appliances, plumbing, electric, carpentry, and HVAC&nbsp;</li><li>Other tasks or duties may be assigned as needed.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><em>Requirements and Qualifications...</em></strong></p><ul><li>1-3 years minimum experience required in community management maintenance or other building maintenance</li><li>Must obtain and maintain a valid Florida Drivers License</li><li>Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks, demands, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines</li><li>Must be able to use general maintenance equipment, but not limited to, hand tools, ladders, and required safety equipment</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and follow through</li><li>Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus</li><li>Skill in the use of computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to set up functions, enter data, and process information</li><li>Skill in using mathematics to solve basic problems</li><li>Skill in working independently and following through with assignments with minimal direction</li><li>Skill in adapting to a changing work environment, competing demands and ability to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events</li><li>Basic ability to operate a computer using Microsoft Office products (Word and Outlook) and learn to use applicable division and organization specific software</li><li>Ability to establish and maintain accurate records</li><li>Ability to review, compile, and organize forms, documents, and related records for efficient processing and proper retrieval</li><li>Ability to understand and/or communicate effectively in both verbal and written format&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to follow oral and written instructions and organize work for timely completion</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Schedule and Location</strong></p><ul><li>Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm</li><li>On-Call 1 week every 4 weeks</li><li>Miami Lakes, FL</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Medical, dental and vision insurance</li><li>Company paid life and disability coverage</li><li>401k plan with 50% match on the first 4% employee contribution</li><li>Pension Plan</li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
