PRN differential is added in certain positions.</em></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p>\n<p>Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, House Supervisor or Emergency Department Physician, provides care to the Emergency Department patient and obtains/transmits demographic data to other hospital departments. <strong> </strong>  </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Required: </u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) </li>\n <li>Current EMT Certification for EMT</li>\n <li>Current BLS Certification </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Preferred: </u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Previous experience as an EMT, Nursing Assistant, Nursing Student or Emergency Department/Admitting Clerk </li>\n <li>Knowledge of Medical Terminology/abbreviations </li>\n <li>Current ACLS Certification </li>\n <li>Current PALS Certification </li>\n <li>Knowledge of regulatory requirements </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>When it comes to quality, we're 5 Star!</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Community Memorial Health System was established in 2005 when Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura merged with Ojai Valley Community Hospital.
