    "description": "<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 72, 118); font-family: Inter; font-size: 18pt; font-weight: bold\">OVERVIEW</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter\">Reporting to the Manager, Material Quality - Alberta, the<span> </span>Team<span> </span>Lead, Recycling Materials Audit, Alberta - Greater Edmonton Area<span> </span>is responsible to oversee the field level execution of the auditing and monitoring activities that Circular Materials (CM) will be carrying out at various points in the process of collecting and processing recyclable materials. In this role, the Lead will ensure adherence to sampling, audit and health and safety protocols, supervise audit team staff, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(22, 145, 121); font-weight: bold\">This is a full-time position, salary paid and requires residency in the Edmonton, Alberta, Canada region.  </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 72, 118); font-family: Inter; font-size: 18pt; font-weight: bold\">RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Develops a thorough understanding of CM’s sampling, auditing, and monitoring protocols and procedures. </span><br></li>\n<li><span>Supervises audit teams in support of the execution of sampling, auditing, and monitoring plans and:   </span><br></li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><span>Ensures the audit team is undertaking work safely, and in accordance with CM and facility Health &amp; Safety protocols, </span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span>Ensures audit team members are following audit protocols and procedures correctly, consistently, and efficiently, </span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span>Ensures the audit deliverables are met in a timely fashion, </span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span>Fosters a positive working environment, </span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span>Ensures the audit facilities are maintained in a clean and safe state, </span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span>Oversees the day-to-day management of audit team scheduling, and, </span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span>Maintains integrity of audit data collection, recording, and reporting. </span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Participates in the execution of sampling, auditing and monitoring plans, which may include: </span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><span>Coordinating the collection of samples of inbound and outbound materials at pre-conditioning facilities,  </span></li>\n<li><span>Auditing (i.e. sorting for composition analysis) of pre- and post-processed PPP materials and residual materials at post-collection partner facilities and/or dedicated audit facilities,  </span></li>\n<li><span>Observation of audits undertaken by stakeholders, and,  </span></li>\n<li><span>Testing and refinement of auditing protocols and plans. </span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Represents CM in a professional manner inside and outside of CM audit facilities. </span><br></li>\n<li><span>Identifies continuous improvement opportunities within the department. </span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 72, 118); font-family: Inter; font-size: 18pt; font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter; font-weight: bold\">Education </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diploma or Degree in environmental field or relevant experience. </li>\n<li>Continuing education or professional development in communications, data management or project management is an asset.  </li>\n<li>Direct experience or knowledge of PPP ( Packaging, Paper Products and Packaging-like Products) recycling programs, stewardship programs, or related field is an asset.   </li>\n<li>An equivalent combination of education, and experiences may be considered.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter\">  </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter; font-weight: bold\">Experience </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>1+ years waste and recycling auditing experience.  </li>\n<li>Previous supervisory experience or relevant leadership skills is preferred.  </li>\n<li>Experience in waste, recycling, field operations, auditing, or a related hands-on environment is considered an asset.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: Inter\">Knowledge</span><span style=\"font-family: Inter\">/Competencies/Skills</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preference will be given to candidates with a strong understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) concepts and the ability to communicate and apply AI technologies effectively within a business context.</li>\n<li>Excellent attention to detail and strong focus on information accuracy.  </li>\n<li>Ability to motivate others in a team-oriented, and collaborative environment.  </li>\n<li>Competent working with numbers.  </li>\n<li>This role involves physical work (e.g. standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 50lbs).  </li>\n<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel, SharePoint, Teams and Jira.  </li>\n<li>Comfortable with written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders.  </li>\n<li>Able to relay analytical observations.   </li>\n<li>Excellent organizational skills and time management.  </li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.  </li>\n<li>Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.  </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 72, 118); font-family: Inter; font-size: 18pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WORKING CONDITIONS</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>All CM employees work 40 hours per week, remotely from a Canadian home office environment.</li>\n<li>This role requires field work. The hours of operation, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Local time must be covered.   </li>\n<li>Extra or flexible hours may be required on occasion.
