You will participate in the evaluation, recommendation, and specification for engineered systems or products for a project verifying compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards / practices. You will lead junior staff on your projects and collaborate with internal and external team members including client interaction. Candidates should be highly motivated and a skilled problem-solver with strong attention to detail. We have a dynamic work environment where you can play a pivotal role in a diverse range of building projects including higher education, K-12, laboratories, industrial, multi-family housing, mixed use developments, and corporate/commercial.</p>\n<p><strong>Your Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for projects of various complexity/size.</li>\n <li>Evaluates, selects, specifies, and designs all mechanical engineered systems or products for a project and assuring work is reviewed for overall technical accuracy.</li>\n <li>Engages in the development of a design through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats.</li>\n <li>Utilizes BIM technologies in development of three-dimensional models of building’s mechanical systems and provides markups for junior engineers/ designers.</li>\n <li>Prepares and revises documentation in various mechanical phases including site plans, floor plans, diagrams, and details.</li>\n <li>Leads project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants, owner and contractor, sub-contractors, and vendors.</li>\n <li>Participates in client project requirement meetings, value analysis, and basic cost estimating.</li>\n <li>Assists with developing and managing the project scope, budget, staffing and schedule.</li>\n <li>Leads the preparation and coordination of the project specifications with construction documents.</li>\n <li>Attends project site meetings for information gathering and field observations.</li>\n <li>Performs and oversees the performance of calculations using company standard software, and proprietary manufacturer software.</li>\n <li>Utilizes advanced techniques for the analysis of specialized building mechanical elements.</li>\n <li>Participates in constructability review.</li>\n <li>Conducts quality assurance and quality control on own projects.</li>\n <li>Assists in the development of new standards and specifications for the mechanical team.</li>\n <li>Works on multiple projects.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>",
