    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Training and Development Specialist to join our team who shall handle training and learning activities for our employees in India offices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing our organization's training and development programs. They will collaborate closely with Learning Manager, Group Heads and HR to identify training needs, develop effective learning strategies, and ensure continuous improvement in employee skills and competencies. </p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and implement comprehensive training programs that align with organizational goals and strategies. </li>\n <li>The role is expected to support the planning, preparation, and execution of various L&D programs and campaigns, including calendar scheduling, program hosting, material preparation, vendor discussion and shortlist and training cost analysis </li>\n <li>Conduct interactive training sessions on topics such as communication, presentation, teamwork, time management, leadership, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence.</li>\n <li>Work with Managers across the team to determine areas of focus, gaps and upskilling and reskilling areas required by the teams. Help managers develop their team members through career path. </li>\n <li>Design and deliver a variety of training methods, including classroom training, e-learning, workshops, and seminars. </li>\n <li>Monitor and maintain training records and compliance with regulatory requirements in our LMS </li>\n <li>Administrative tasks involved in managing the LMS. </li>\n <li>Manage training budgets, vendor management, and digital learning platforms.  </li>\n <li>Develop standardized training modules for all levels – entry-level to managerial. </li>\n <li>When required, be prepared to host virtual sessions from opening the sessions, welcoming the participants, introducing the presenters, and final closing. – Facilitation skills are a mandatory requirement. </li>\n <li>Establish a feedback mechanism to understand learning effectiveness. </li>\n <li>Evaluate and revise training programs based on feedback and performance metrics. </li>\n <li>Stay current with developments in training and development research and best practices. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Masters degree in HR, learning, and/ or organizational development is a must. </li>\n <li>Certification in training and development (e.g., CPTM, APTD, CPTD, or CPLP) is a plus. </li>\n <li>5 years of proven experience in Learning & Development, Training, or similar roles. </li>\n <li>Proven success in setting up L&D teams, processes, and systems from scratch</li>\n <li>Creative and innovative approach to training design and delivery. </li>\n <li>Experience in managing an LMS, Cornerstone preferred. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Walter P Moore is an equal employment opportunity employer, and provides equal employment opportunities (including offering competitive compensation and benefit packages) to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to any characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.</em></p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Walter P Moore is an international company of engineers, architects, innovators, and creative people who solve some of the world’s most complex structural and infrastructure challenges.
