We need self-driven, experienced, motivated and focused new team members, and offer a dynamic, growth-oriented environment for people to shine and learn.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Role Overview:</span></p>\n<p>We’re looking for a highly motivated individual with a background in Mechanical Engineering to join our Design &amp; Product Development team.</p>\n<p>As Design Engineer - Mechanical you will be reporting to Head of Design &amp; Product Development. You will be responsible for owning and developing our next generation Mechanical Infrastructure designs, including heat export, multi-MW heat rejection, hall-scale air and direct to chip cooling infrastructures. You will work with new and established cooling technology vendors, systems integrators as well as the traditional data center supply chain across as technical subject matter expert.</p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will have experience working as a senior engineer on major infrastructure projects, a background in contracting, consultancy or product technical development within Data Center, Energy or Process sectors, as well as a passion for seeing their concepts take shape during construction, all while working as part of a cohesive team.</p>\n<p>You will partner with our local development and operations teams across all our existing facilities, including Finland, Iceland, London in this global role based in Verne’s London Head Office.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Design</span>: Own our Mechanical infrastructure product from Strategic Brief through to handover to operations.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Vendor management</span>: Foster relationships and drive external partner teams forward in early stages of data center development, including technical feasibility, due diligence, permitting design.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Technical Feasibility: </span>Market research for new and emerging data center and energy generation technologies, development of technical whitepapers to support the Product Development Roadmap.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Product Management:</span> Take ownership of key product initiatives within Verne from concept to launch.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Engineering or Physical Science or similar field</li>\n<li>5 years’ experience as an individual contributor involved in the design or delivery of infrastructure projects, as a Mechanical Engineer.</li>\n<li>Hands-on experience in Revit</li>\n<li>Professionally accredited, or ability to demonstrate on the path towards.</li>\n<li>Track record of leading initiatives or projects to successful outcomes.</li>\n<li>Interest in the built environment, technology and infrastructure</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Travel Flexibility:</span> Willingness to travel regularly between UK, Finland, and Iceland as part of the role.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We Offer:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Opportunity to be part of a fast-growing, private equity-backed company.</li>\n<li>A dynamic, innovative, and inclusive working environment.</li>\n<li>Competitive compensation and benefits package.</li>\n<li>The chance to work with a talented and ambitious international team.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>",
