    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Peraton is seeking incumbent and external qualified candidates to support North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyene Mountain Complex (NCMC) – Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (NCMC-ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract III (NISSC III).</p>\n<p>Please note that this is contingent upon contract award, with an anticipated decision expected by summer 2026</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Qualified candidates will help operate, maintain, and sustain critical national mission systems to deliver resilient strategic threat warning and space capabilities as part of a world-wide architecture, providing strategic warning that our nation depends on during a conflict. This program will provide an opportunity to exploit the capabilities inherent in our diverse national systems to better meet the needs of the national command authority and warfighters to detect, track, and respond to strategic threats through 2030 and beyond.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are seeking a <strong>Facilities technician </strong>to support the planning, coordination, sustainment, and operational readiness of mission-critical facilities supporting this high-visibility program. This role will support facility operations, documentation, integration, maintenance coordination, and infrastructure activities associated with Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) and associated mission environments. The Junior Facilities Specialist will work closely with facilities leadership, engineering teams, security personnel, and Government stakeholders to support facility readiness, compliance, and operational support activities across classified mission environments.</p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will possess foundational experience supporting facilities, infrastructure, construction coordination, operations support, or technical environments within DoD, aerospace, government, or mission-focused organizations while contributing to safe, compliant, and mission-ready operational facilities.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Support facility planning, integration, sustainment, and operational support activities across mission environments and secured facility spaces</li>\n <li>Assist with maintenance and coordination of facility documentation, floor plans, infrastructure records, equipment inventories, and facility support artifacts</li>\n <li>Coordinate with engineering teams, security personnel, facilities leadership, vendors, and Government representatives to support facility readiness and operational requirements</li>\n <li>Support facility compliance activities associated with OSHA standards, building codes, environmental health and safety requirements, and security procedures</li>\n <li>Assist with facility inspections, compliance reviews, Government Protection Survey preparation, and remediation tracking activities</li>\n <li>Support construction, renovation, maintenance, and infrastructure upgrade activities across operational environments</li>\n <li>Track facility projects, schedules, action items, service requests, and operational support requirements</li>\n <li>Assist with procurement coordination, vendor communication, and equipment tracking activities supporting facility operations and buildout efforts</li>\n <li>Support installation and documentation of facility infrastructure, communications equipment, furnishings, and operational support systems</li>\n <li>Maintain records associated with maintenance activities, project updates, facility configurations, and operational support tasks</li>\n <li>Support environmental health, safety, and hazard mitigation activities as required</li>\n <li>Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives supporting facility readiness, operational efficiency, and mission effectiveness</li>\n <li>Ability to travel up to 25%</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Required Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience; OR 0+ years with Master’s degree; additional four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree will be considered</li>\n <li>Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required; ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI access required</li>\n <li>Foundational experience supporting facilities, infrastructure, construction coordination, maintenance operations, logistics, or operational support activities within DoD, government, aerospace, or mission-focused environments</li>\n <li>Familiarity with facility operations, project coordination, documentation management, or infrastructure support activities</li>\n <li>Familiarity with OSHA standards, building codes, facility compliance requirements, or operational safety procedures</li>\n <li>Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and coordination skills</li>\n <li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and support activities within fast-paced operational environments</li>\n <li>Ability to collaborate across engineering, facilities, security, logistics, and operational support teams</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Desired Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Exposure to SCIF environments, secure facilities, or classified operational environments</li>\n <li>Experience supporting facility maintenance, renovation, construction coordination, or infrastructure projects</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Government Protection Surveys, facility accreditation activities, or secure facility compliance processes</li>\n <li>Experience supporting mission-critical operational environments or 24×7 operations</li>\n <li>Familiarity with project tracking tools, SharePoint, Visio, AutoCAD, Remedy, or similar facilities/documentation platforms</li>\n <li>Experience supporting environmental health and safety or operational compliance activities</li>\n <li>OSHA, facilities, project coordination, or related certifications preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Peraton Overview</h2>\n<p>Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
