    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\">&nbsp;</p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Job Title: CNC Lathe Programmer/Operator</strong></p><p><strong>Department: CNC</strong></p><p><strong>FLSA Status: Non-Exempt</strong></p><p><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p><p>The CNC Lathe Programmer/Operator will play a critical role in the production of high-quality hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders. This position is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to manufacture precision components that meet exact specifications and quality standards. The individual will interpret engineering drawings, create CNC programs, and perform machine setups while ensuring efficient production processes. The role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineering, production, and quality teams to deliver reliable, cost-effective cylinder components.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties: (Additional duties may be assigned as required.)</strong></p><p>&bull; Produce quality machined parts by programming, setting up, and final machining all components.</p><p>&bull; Write, store, and retrieve programs for machined parts.</p><p>&bull; Prioritize work orders for timely completion to accommodate customer needs.</p><p>&bull; Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.</p><p>&bull; Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements, troubleshoot malfunctions, and repair equipment as needed.</p><p>&bull; Set up, program, finish machine, and verify parts to print.</p><p>&bull; Analyze job orders, drawings, blueprints and/or specifications to calculate dimensions, tool selection machine speed and feed rates.</p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><p>&bull; G Code proficiency is a must</p><p>&bull; Skilled in programing and operating CNC Lathes</p><p>&bull; Competent with Mazak Mazatrol, Mazak Fusion, and Fanuc Controls</p><p>&bull; Mazak experience preferred.</p><p>&bull; Able to read and interpret blueprints.</p><p>&bull; Strong math skills</p><p>&bull; Programming gantry robots, bar feeders, and sub spindles a plus</p><p>&bull; Able to use inspection equipment such as micrometers, depth mic&rsquo;s, thread gauges, and calipers</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.</p><p><strong>Reasoning Ability:</strong></p><p>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.</p><p><strong>Education/Experience:</strong></p><p>High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p><p><strong>Equipment:</strong></p><p>&bull; Micrometers</p><p>&bull; Thread gauges</p><p>&bull; Calipers</p><p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:</strong></p><p>&bull; Ability to read blueprints</p><p>&bull; Ability to program, edit programs, change offsets, and change tools.</p><p>&bull; Familiarity with all computerized numerical control tooling and methods of machining mills</p><p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong></p><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
