Other duties may be assigned.</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Set up, maintain, and close field office and ensure that the project is secure at all times;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Thorough understanding of plans and specifications to plan procedures for each phase of construction;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Identify potential issues in the plans and specs (i.e. items with long lead times, etc.) and alert the Project Manager;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Fully understands the financial implications of decision making, bumps in schedule;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Perform project start up and ensure project layout is accurate;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Assist with the development of project schedules for specific scopes of work and identifies issues/provide solutions;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Participate in weekly team meetings;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Verify that mock-ups match the specs and are approved before any material is installed;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ensure work-in-place is installed per plans and specs and QC is adhered to the standards of the construction industry;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Work with PM to ensure that 3 week look-ahead is up-to-date, provide input.   </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Submit, monitor and update 3 week look-ahead schedule with on-site staff and subcontractors weekly;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Conduct weekly Subcontractor/ Forman meetings;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintain Subcontractor Badging Program daily;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Conduct safety meetings and ensure that all safety regulations are followed by the company and subcontractor crews.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Collect safety meeting attendance sheets from subcontractors.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Conduct and document pre-installation conferences;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Create, review submittals (identify compliance/ specifications) and maintain the project submittal log with the project engineer;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintain a rolling punchlist weekly and complete punchlist and close-out in a timely fashion;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintain a project closeout checklist leading up to CofO;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintain all jobsite documentation: ensure all subs provide proof of insurance and review status for expiration dates, complete all daily reports and logs, review subcontractor invoices and provide documentation and backup for resolution of subcontractor claims;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Works with PM weekly regarding Subcontractor P.L.O. issues;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Commit to subcontractor’s/ KBE for the proper back-up for PCO or deduct change orders;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintain as-built drawings on-site weekly;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Use of Backcharge notifications and log;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Use of safety notifications and log;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Communicate effectively with all necessary individuals, including keeping the team well informed of all potential jobsite issues;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Foster good relationships with subcontractors, architects and owners with an eye towards obtaining the next project;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintain required company safety recertification/ training;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">May be expected to coach/ mentor other project superintendents and provide training, as needed.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education, Experience, &amp; Qualifications:</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
