The Future We Build Together.</p>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>0 to One (1) year relevant experience</li>\n <li>Ability to:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Follow work procedures and safety rules</li>\n   <li>Identify and locate product which requires reading and counting</li>\n   <li>Operate powered pallet jack safely and efficiently</li>\n   <li>Read, understand, and follow directions/instructions</li>\n   <li>Work a specified shift</li>\n   <li>Work with minimum supervision</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Good written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>All applicants must successfully pass a criminal background and drug test</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Important Note: </strong>Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Inspect and identify damages to merchandise</li>\n <li>Repair damaged merchandise including repairing upholstery and refinishing of case goods</li>\n <li>Repair of damaged corners, dents, scratches, broken wood products & drawers that do not properly glide</li>\n <li>Re-upholstering of love seats, sofas, chairs: arms, side panels, backs, fronts and seat cushions</li>\n <li>On-the-spot repairs including all touch-ups</li>\n <li>Knowledge with blending colors for all wood types with aerosols, epoxy and color pens</li>\n <li>Knowledge with refinishing all wood textures (burn-in)</li>\n <li>Write up daily shop logs in order to invoice clients to SOP</li>\n <li>Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy</li>\n <li>Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards</li>\n <li>Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, report variances as necessary</li>\n <li>Changes equipment battery or LP tank and monitors power source as necessary</li>\n <li>Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion</li>\n <li>Assist in physical inventories</li>\n <li>Complete daily inspection of equipment</li>\n <li>Perform additional duties as assigned by management or customer</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Ryder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free workplace.
