Responsibilities:</strong><br>* Under supervision select, Setup, and operation of machines and machining tools.<br>* Monitor quality and workmanship, verification of dimensional requirements to print.<br>* Maintain company assets, environment, and atmosphere<br><br><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities:</strong><br>* May be required to instruct operators in proper operation of machine tools/practices. &nbsp;<br>* Instruct proper procedures in loading and unloading parts.<br>* Instruct machine assistants in inspection of production detail parts to ensure quality/dimensional values are maintained and verified to print.<br><br><strong>Qualifications:</strong><br>* Minimum of 3 years of machining experience and/or on the job training with intermediate level ability and understanding of requirements.<br>* Intermediate ability to read and interpret drawings.<br>* Work from oral and written instructions.<br>* Align/locate fixtures and set cutting tools for both new and reoccurring production runs.<br>* Ability to provide accurate and direct feedback to lead/supervisor as required.<br>* Use of various inspection, hand tools.<br>* Operate and monitor production.<br><br><strong>Education:</strong><br>* High school diploma or equivalent</div><br><p><strong>Experience:</strong><br>Familiar with the following machines and/or controls-<br>* Various Omax, Multicam , DMG MORI, HAAS, Mitsubishi, Fanuc, Siemens, CELOS, HeidenHain controls<br>* Bridgeport EZ Trak<br>* Manual mills and lathes<br>* Various sheet metal and/or Honeycomb routers, Waterjets, digital routers, Lasers<br>* Various saws<br>* Brake press, shears, presses<br>* Hand tools, pneumatic tools<br>* Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook<br><strong><br>Language Skills:</strong><br>* Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions, short correspondence, and memos.<br>* Ability to write simple correspondence, co-worker tie in, and direct feedback to internal/external depts.<br>* Ability to effectively present/relay information in one-one and smaller group situations to other employees of the organization.<br><br><strong>Mathematical Skills:</strong><br>* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurements, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.<br>* Understanding of basic trigonometry.<br>* Understanding English and metric measurement systems and ability to convert both.<br><br><strong>Reasoning Ability:</strong><br>* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or drawing form.<br>* Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables inn standardized situations.<br><strong><br>Physical Demands:</strong><br>* The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.<br>* Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.<br>* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods of time.<br>* The employee frequently is required to walk;
