This role will be PRN.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span><strong>Inova PRN Benefits and Perks:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>State-of-the-art medical and training facilities&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Retirement benefits with match from day one</span></li>\n <li><span>Free Parking to all employees</span></li>\n <li><span>Exclusive savings opportunities to in-store events, theme parks, discounts, movie tickets and local offerings and so much more!</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Radiology Extern 2 Job Responsibilities:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Demonstrates a thorough understanding of IVs, heparin locks and central line usage as they pertain to computed tomography, as evidenced by observations by supervisors and peers.</span></li>\n <li><span>Completes ancillary tasks to ensure efficient and consistent departmental operations.</span></li>\n <li><span>Correctly identifies patients and their files by ensuring a high degree of accuracy, as evidenced by the lack of mislabeled films, images and EMR charts.</span></li>\n <li><span>Tracks patients according to department procedures. Identifies errors and takes immediate action for corrections, as evidenced by the EMR and PACS systems as well as the Radiology Information Systems reports.</span></li>\n <li><span>Participates in department/hospital performance improvement initiatives, in-services and meetings, as evidenced by attendance records</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span><strong>Education:</strong>&nbsp;High School or GED. Full-time student in good standing in an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. Must be 2nd year in an accredited Radiologic Technology Program</span></li>\n <li><span><strong>Certification:</strong>&nbsp;Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association</span></li>\n</ul>",
