Together, the university’s community of doers, makers, healers, and innovators empowers graduates to change the world, solve 21st-century challenges, and reinvent the future.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>For more information, visit nyit.edu.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The School of Management at New York Institute of Technology (Long Island campus) seeks an Adjunct Faculty member to teach <strong>Operations Management and Management Science</strong> courses <strong>in person</strong> at the undergraduate and graduate levels.</p>\n<p>Teaching responsibilities include topics such as:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Linear and integer programming</li>\n <li>Nonlinear optimization</li>\n <li>Decision analysis</li>\n <li>Queuing theory</li>\n <li>Process analysis and operational decision-making</li>\n <li>Quality and inventory management</li>\n</ul>\n<p>While the courses center on <strong>traditional OM/MS content</strong>, the instructor is expected to incorporate <strong>modern AI-enabled decision tools</strong> (e.g., Generative AI for modeling explanation, algorithmic exploration, scenario analysis) to enrich student learning and demonstrate contemporary applications.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>M.S., MBA, Ph.D., or equivalent degree in Operations Management, Management Science, Industrial Engineering, Analytics, or a related discipline.
