Ultimately, this is where you want to be.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Department of Medicine is seeking a Geriatrician to service both sites, who would have access to available resources in the Geriatric Clinic located at Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital. The successful candidate will be working with a strong, supportive, and collegial group of colleagues in a two-site community hospital organization committed to providing high quality, comprehensive clinical services.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be willing to work within interdisciplinary teams.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Skills – Abilities – Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide timely assessments of hospital geriatric consults at both Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital and Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital.</li>\n <li>Provide an equal share of weekend call coverage. </li>\n <li>Support outpatient geriatric referrals from the Emergency Departments.</li>\n <li>Ability to work both independently and as a team member within a group environment.</li>\n <li>Proven attendance record.</li>\n <li>Ability to perform the essential duties of the job.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates behaviours consistent with Mackenzie Health’s Commitment to Caring.</li>\n <li>Models behaviour that is aligned with the values of Mackenzie Health – Excellence, </li>\n <li>Leadership, Empathy.</li>\n <li>Commitment to providing an exceptional experience for staff and clients within a challenging and exciting health care environment.</li>\n <li>Contributes to patient and staff safety.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education – Certification – License</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical degree approved by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) required.</li>\n <li>Post Graduate training in Geriatrics. </li>\n <li>Certification in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (FRCSC).</li>\n <li>Canadian Medical Protection Association or equivalent in good standing</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Interested Candidates should submit their cover letter and CV by January 5, 2026 to:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Sophie Stratos, Manager of Medical Affairs, Mackenzie Health10 Trench Street, Richmond Hill, Ontario L4C 4Z3905.883.1212 ext.
