In this role, you’ll support the delivery of nature recovery and habitat creation projects, gaining hands-on experience in environments like wetlands, meadows, and woodlands. You’ll develop key skills in sustainable land management and ecological restoration, building a solid foundation for your future career.</p>\n<p>Within your first 12 months, we’ll work with you to create a tailored Personal Development Plan (PDP) that aligns with your strengths and goals. This plan will map out the training, skills, and experience needed to progress into a Landscaper role, providing a clear, supported path for your growth.</p>\n<p>We’re committed to your development and success, offering a structured approach to learning and career progression in a supportive team environment.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">More information</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Job type: Permanent, full time</li>\n<li>Start date: asap</li>\n<li>Salary: £29,484</li>\n<li>Location: Quainton, Buckinghamshire, HP22 4DE but willing to travel to other sites to gain experience on other projects.</li>\n<li>Reports To: Site Manager</li>\n<li>A full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle will be required for this position.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Ecosulis is committed to investing in your development and will provide accredited training within your first six months to equip you with the essential skills and knowledge needed for your role.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Ecosulis funded training Courses </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>CSCS (CITB and ROLO Course)</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>HAVS</li>\n<li>Manual Handling</li>\n<li>Spills Management</li>\n<li>COSHH</li>\n<li>Waste Management &amp; Environmental Awareness</li>\n<li>Asbestos Awareness</li>\n<li>Brushcutter/strimmer</li>\n<li>First Aid + Forestry </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Key Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Habitat Creation and Nature Recovery </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with planting, seeding, and establishing native habitats such as wildflower meadows, scrubland, and wetlands.</li>\n<li>Develop practical skills in creating natural features that support and enhance wildlife.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the identification and safe removal of invasive plant species.</li>\n<li>Learn methods to promote biodiversity by protecting and encouraging native plants and ecosystems.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Help build and maintain habitat structures like ponds, hibernacula, and wildlife corridors.</li>\n<li>Carry out land management tasks that align with conservation and environmental goals.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with monitoring the health of plants and soils to ensure successful habitat establishment.</li>\n<li>Support data collection and ongoing care for planted or restored sites.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Site Safety and Use of Tools / Equipment</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gain qualifications and experience using landscaping tools and machinery, including strimmers and brush cutters.</li>\n<li>Assist with routine equipment checks and basic maintenance under guidance.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Help prepare sites by removing turf, installing fencing, and applying mulch.</li>\n<li>Maintain clean, organised, and safe working areas throughout projects.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Work closely with ecologists, contractors, and project managers to support effective project delivery.</li>\n<li>Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and stakeholders.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Adhere to all health and safety policies to maintain a secure working environment.</li>\n<li>Learn and implement Ecosulis’ commitment to sustainable and environmentally responsible practices.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Be ready to work at different sites, including remote and rural locations.</li>\n<li>Willingness to travel and stay overnight when necessary to meet project requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Experience</span></span></p>\n<p>Previous Landscaping or Environmental Project Experience would be desirable, however this is a Graduate/Trainee opportunity.
