This position is based in Clemmons, North Carolina</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Planner plans and prepares production schedules for manufacturing under the general supervision of the Planning Manager by performing the following duties.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Reviews sales forecast and customer order demands in order to establish sequence and lead time of each operation and determine the accuracy of master production schedule.</li>\n <li>Analyzes plant capacity data and production specifications and performs mathematical calculations to determine labor/material requirements in order to meet the time demands of the plan.</li>\n <li>Interfaces with Customer Service Department, Sales Department and Plant Supervisors to ensure that plan efficiency and schedule adherence are maintained in order to satisfy customer demands.</li>\n <li>Reviews and approves engineering changes or new product implementation for feasibility and schedule into the production plan for execution.</li>\n <li>Interface with Purchasing for purchased materials to ensure the production schedule is maintained and to meet any unforeseen conditions.</li>\n <li>Monitors inventory levels (dollars/units) of assigned product line.</li>\n <li>Maintains and updates D365 Released Products list as necessary.</li>\n <li>Performs all other duties assigned by Supervisor.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p>\n<p><strong><u>Education and Experience:</u></strong></p>\n<p>Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. </p>\n<p><strong><u>Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:</u></strong></p>\n<p>None Required; however, APICS certification as a CPIM is helpful. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Other Skills and Abilities:</u></strong></p>\n<p>A solid understanding of the product lines.
