You will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:</p><ul><li><p>Ensure the safe and optimal use of equipment, using established procedures, Lean, and 5S principles to foster improvement and achieve production goals</p></li><li><p>Perform regular Quality checks, and ensure compliance with standards</p></li><li><p>Develop knowledge to troubleshoot plant processes, perform equipment changeovers, as well as minor troubleshooting and repairs as necessary</p></li><li><p>Adjusting to new demands, products, and plant priorities to support business interests</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Your Skills and Expertise  </b></p><p>To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:</p><ul><li><p>High School diploma/Equivalent or higher (completed before start)</p></li><li><p>Ability and flexibility to work shift rotations</p></li><li><p>Must reside in Canada</p></li><li><span>MUST be able to meet Controlled Goods Clearance requirements (see below)</span></li></ul><p></p><p><span><b>Successful security clearance under the Canadian Controlled Goods Registration program is a mandatory requirement for this position at this location. Please note that the following are some, but not all, of the requirements for Controlled Goods Clearance:</b></span></p><ul><li><span>Must be a Canadian citizen normally residing in Canada, or</span></li><li><span>Must be a Permanent Resident, normally residing in Canada</span></li><li><span>Have valid and current identification (ie, driver’s license, passport, birth certificate)</span></li><li><span>Be able to provide a residential address and employment history of the past 5 years</span></li><li><span>Living outside of Canada during the past five years will require an international criminal name check and will prolong the assessment process</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></b></p><ul><li><p>Post-secondary education</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated ability to achieve results both alone and in cross-functional teams</p></li><li><p>General proficiency with Windows based applications (email, calendars, documents)</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><b>Travel:</b></b> In this role, you will be required to travel less than 5% of the time, which may involve overnight stays. A valid driver’s license is required.</p><p></p><p><b><b>Relocation:</b></b> Not offered</p><p></p><p><b>The expected compensation for this position is $62,782 which includes base pay and variable incentive pay, if eligible.
