Description

Acquisition Program Analyst – Senior Clearance: TS/SCI Onsite 5 days per week This position provides critical PEM support for programs of record (PoR) across the AQP portfolio. SAF/AQP – Global Power Programs Directorate Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is currently looking for a Sr. Acquisition Program Analyst, to support SAF/AQP, Global Power Programs Directorate. AQP Directs, plans, and programs for development, procurement, and product support of $10B portfolio of global power programs.  The portfolio includes legacy fighters, fifth-generation aircraft, as well as sixth generation aircraft programs.  It encompasses the entirety of the DAF munitions procurements to include weapons currently used in Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR) such as Joint Directed Attack Munition (JDAM), Small Diameter Bomb (SDB), and Hellfire missiles.  Finally, the Global Power portfolio captures the DAF investments in the nuclear triad to include the legacy and modernized of the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) and Cruise Missile programs.  The portfolio is increasingly vital cross-cutting Air Force Global Power priorities such as Nuclear Command Control & Communications, Operational Imperatives, and emerging Air Force kinetic priorities. The tasks for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:   Building documentation, reviewing data, and providing impartial assessments in support of HAF budget preparation and defense, SAE oversight and decision-making activities, Program Executive Office (PEO) execution and oversight efforts. Maintaining and analyzing planning, scheduling, budget, and management data. Studying, analyzing, and providing recommendations on requirements, acquisition strategies, program documentation, program phase transition plans, supplemental information, and program execution. Providing impartial assessments of programs approaching key decision points as well as prime Contractor technical and operational issues. Researching and analyzing program trends, identifying issues, and recommending solutions. Making recommendations on the allocation of funding; establishment of program goals, objectives, and schedules; and the formulation of program direction. Tracking compliance with stated program direction and identifying issues. Identifying and researching programmatic issues and tradeoffs in terms of required capabilities, costs, and schedules. Reviewing and providing recommendations on existing and proposed Air Force acquisition and capability area policies and implementation. Reviewing and evaluating the impact of national, DoD, JCS, and civil government policies and activities that affect Air Force acquisition programs and capability areas. Maintaining historical Air Force program documentation and developing summary documents/briefings and training material. Providing short notice, quick-reaction analyses of critical programmatic issues in the context of Congressional, OSD Staff, Joint Staff, HQ USAF, MAJCOM, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), coalition, or bi-lateral activities. Preparing PPBE documentation, ensuring accurate articulation of the current program, budgetary status, and strategies. Qualifications: A master’s degree in business or related discipline. At least 10 years of relevant acquisition (programs of record) experience in a System Program Office and/or Air Force Headquarters. Must be proficient in all computer-based communication/office IT tools, to include the following: Microsoft (MS) Office Suite – Word, Power Point, SharePoint, Excel, TEAMS; Adobe (both reader and Pro). Must have the ability to learn new software/office IT tools as needed in a timely manner. Must be proficient in public speaking: capable of delivering briefs, speaking in meetings in person and online, and giving presentations. Work Experience Substitutions: 12 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a MA/MS degree. BA/BS degree plus 8 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a MA/MS degree.       "description": "<span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;\"><span style=\"font-family:Aptos, sans-serif;\"><b>Acquisition Program Analyst – Senior</b></span></span></span><br><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;\"><span style=\"font-family:Aptos, sans-serif;\"><b>Clearance: TS/SCI</b></span></span></span><br><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;\"><span style=\"font-family:Aptos, sans-serif;\"><b>Onsite 5 days per week </b><br><br>This position provides critical PEM support for programs of record (PoR) across the AQP portfolio.<br><br><b>SAF/AQP – Global Power Programs Directorate</b></span></span></span><br><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;\"><span style=\"font-family:Aptos, sans-serif;\">Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is currently looking for a Sr. Acquisition Program Analyst, to support SAF/AQP, Global Power Programs Directorate.  </span></span></span><br><br><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;\"><span style=\"font-family:Aptos, sans-serif;\">AQP Directs, plans, and programs for development, procurement, and product support of $10B portfolio of global power programs.  The portfolio includes legacy fighters, fifth-generation aircraft, as well as sixth generation aircraft programs.  It encompasses the entirety of the DAF munitions procurements to include weapons currently used in Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR) such as Joint Directed Attack Munition (JDAM), Small Diameter Bomb (SDB), and Hellfire missiles.  Finally, the Global Power portfolio captures the DAF investments in the nuclear triad to include the legacy and modernized of the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) and Cruise Missile programs.  The portfolio is increasingly vital cross-cutting Air Force Global Power priorities such as Nuclear Command Control & Communications, Operational Imperatives, and emerging Air Force kinetic priorities.</span></span></span><br><br><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span style=\"line-height:107%;\"><span style=\"font-family:Aptos, sans-serif;\">The tasks for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:</span></span></span><br> <div class=\"WordSection1\"><ul><li style=\"margin-right:87px;margin-left:32px;\"><span><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span><span style=\"font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\">Building documentation, reviewing data, and providing impartial assessments in support of HAF budget preparation and defense, SAE oversight and decision-making activities, Program Executive Office (PEO) execution and oversight efforts.</span></span></span></span></span></li><li style=\"margin-right:87px;margin-left:32px;\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span><span style=\"font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\">Maintaining and analyzing planning, scheduling, budget, and management <span style=\"letter-spacing:-0.1pt;\">data.</span></span></span></span></span></li><li style=\"margin-right:87px;margin-left:32px;\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span><span style=\"font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\">Studying, analyzing, and providing recommendations on requirements, acquisition strategies, program documentation, program phase transition plans, supplemental information, and program execution.</span></span></span></span></li><li style=\"margin-right:87px;margin-left:32px;\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span><span style=\"font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\">Providing impartial assessments of programs approaching key decision points as well as prime Contractor technical and operational issues.</span></span></span></span></li><li style=\"margin-right:87px;margin-left:32px;\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span><span style=\"font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\">Researching and analyzing program trends, identifying issues, and recommending<span style=\"letter-spacing:-0.1pt;\"> solutions.</span></span></span></span></span></li><li style=\"margin-right:87px;margin-left:32px;\"><span style=\"font-size:11pt;\"><span><span style=\"font-family:'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt;\">Making recommendations on the allocation of funding;
