(GRS) is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and talented individual for the position of Physical Security Specialist.</p><p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p><p><strong>Summary:&nbsp;</strong>The Physical Security Technician will provide technical expertise and interpret security policy guidance.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Serve in the Registrar / Activator role for the USAccess (HSPD-12) system in order to enroll, print, activate, and issue Personal Identity Verification (PIV) cards as well as perform PIN resets and certificate updates.</li><li>Assist with tracking inventory of GSA Vaults and Containers, changing combinations (X10s), and updating and completing SF700s.</li><li>Issuance / retrieval of keys, PIV cards, and access FOBs.</li><li>Assist with tracking inventory of accountable items to include keys, PIV cards, access FOBs, credentials, badges, radios, and other government furnished equipment.</li><li>Assist with in-processing and out-processing of agency personnel, contractors, detailees, and platformers.</li><li>Conduct reviews / audits of access control and camera system records.</li><li>Experience with the installation, maintenance, and programming of a wide variety of electronic security systems to include access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, and sound masking systems</li><li>Work closely with Guard Staff personnel to ensure physical security processes and procedures are followed.</li><li>Support the safety and emergency management programs.</li><li>Will assist with the roles and responsibilities of the National Operations Security (OPSEC) Program Office, as described in National Security Presidential Memorandum 28 (NSPM-28).</li><li>Supports special projects, as required.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirement:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Three (3) to five (5) years relevant security experience.</li><li>HS diploma required - Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or Associate&rsquo;s degree preferred</li><li>GSA Vaults &amp; Containers Course or a course of similar nature and length</li><li>Electronic Security Systems Design (ESSD) Course</li><li>Security Engineering Training (SET) Course</li><li>Kaba Mas X-10 Digital Lock Certification Course</li><li>Lenel Certified Associate, Professional, Expert or Design Architect</li></ul><p><strong>Security</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Final Top Secret personnel security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Good Organization Skills</li><li>Ability to resolve complaints and concerns</li><li>Ability to use established procedures</li><li>Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English</li><li>Basic Computer Skills &ndash; Basic experience with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong>: This position requires employees to be willing and able to: sit, bend, reach, stoop, squat, stand, and walk.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Communication:</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong>Excellent customer service via phone and face to face conversation, excellent written and oral command of English.</p><p>GRS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
