Job Summary Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, turning, grinding, milling, etc. Reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and other specifications. Prep parts and load raw materials onto machinery. Perform test run to ensure machines produce outputs according to specifications. Monitor the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result. Inspect finished product using precision measuring tools such as micrometer, calipers, and gages. Communicate with Quality and Engineering department regarding non-conforming parts.
