    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: black\">Outdoor Education Cabin Leader </span></span></p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: rgb(26, 49, 241); font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Looking to fill 12 positions</span></em></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: black\">The Cabin Leader's primary role is to supervise a group of students, as well as guide hikes, sleep in the cabin, lead activities, and help students grow through program elements. </span><span style=\"color: black\"> </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Essential Functions</span></p>\n<ol>\n<li>Lead and live with students in cabin groups according to program needs for 3, 4, and 5-day sessions</li>\n<li>Develop professional relationships with guests (students, teachers, chaperones, administrators) and coworkers</li>\n<li>Perform duties and/or participate in activities including:\n<ol>\n<li>Support Program Instructors in the teaching of the curriculum</li>\n<li>Lead various program elements including rock wall, archery, crafts, songs, games, chapels, worship, skits, dances, and team building exercises</li>\n<li>Enforce dining hall standards during meals</li>\n<li>When necessary, travel to multiple sites for the outdoor education programs </li>\n</ol>\n</li>\n</ol>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Additional Functions</span></p>\n<ol>\n<li>Attends team meetings</li>\n<li>Provide supportive leadership when necessary</li>\n<li>Assist in cleaning and inventory management</li>\n<li>Provide first aid and basic health care when necessary</li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned by supervisor</li>\n</ol>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Major Competency Areas</span><br></p>\n<ol>\n<li>Ability to work effectively within a team or alone</li>\n<li>Strong communication skills</li>\n<li>Ability to model desired behaviors, including a positive attitude, on a consistent basis</li>\n<li>Reliability, punctuality, and good time management</li>\n</ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 28px\"> <span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications​ </span></span></p>\n<ol>\n<li>Minimum education of a high school diploma <br> </li>\n<li>Godly Christian character</li>\n<li>Current Red Cross/American Heart Association CPR and First Aid certifications</li>\n<li>Full agreement with TPCC doctrinal statement, mission, vision, and values, and compliance with staff handbook</li>\n</ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Physical Demands</span></p>\n<ol>\n<li>Abilities sufficient to carry out the essential functions of the job, including the physical fitness and endurance needed to lead hikes and activities</li>\n<li>Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions and ground conditions</li>\n<li>Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs</li>\n<li>This job involves a lot of walking, hiking, standing, and participation in outside activities on various types of terrain (often uneven). While activities and hikes vary, some will be strenuous. We desire to have a distinctly Christian atmosphere and influence. Though campers and attendees come from many Christian and non-Christian backgrounds, all are included in activities. All beliefs are listed and founded in God's Word, the Bible. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">PREAMBLE</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">TM Camping, in accordance with the historic Baptist tradition, hold to Believers Baptism by Immersion, Liberty of Conscience, the Separation of Church and state, and the Priesthood of the Believer. We also affirm the following distinctive which need emphasis at the present time:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">I.  THE AUTHORITY OF SCRIPTURE</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">The Bible is the inspired, authoritative and infallible Word of God and is our sole rule of faith and practice. It is the standard by which all human conduct and creeds should be tried.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">II.  THE TRINITY</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">There is only one true and living God who is manifested in three eternal and coequal person; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  God possesses holiness, omnipotence, omniscience, omnipresence, love, mercy, and all other perfections.  All humankind owed to Him supreme faith and obedience.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">III.  HUMANKIND</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Humankind has been created in the image of God but through Adam’s fall is now sinful, lost and condemned. By deliberate choice all participate in sin which is open rebellion to God’s law. Notwithstanding the fall, all human life through creation has value and dignity.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">IV.  JUSTIFICATION BY FAITH</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Human beings can be forgiven of sin and justified solely through the redeeming work of Jesus Christ who died for sinners and rose again from the dead.  Only by repentance from sin and faith in Jesus Christ the Lord can acceptance with God be attained.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">V.  REGENERATION</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Regeneration is the work of the Holy Spirit by which the believer receives a new nature from God. Christian growth or sanctification is the continuation of the new life principle which begins in the new birth.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">VI.  THE CHURCH</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">The church in its widest sense includes all believers of all ages. The church is manifested visibly in the local body of baptized believers who covenant together to worship, observe the ordinances, and evangelize.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">VII.  HUMAN DESTINY</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Jesus Christ will eventually return visibly at which time He will raise the dead and judge all people. Believers will enjoy an eternal state of blessedness in heaven while unbelievers will experience eternal separation from God in hell.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">VIII.  EVANGELISM AND SOCIAL CONCERN</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">The church has been called to preach the gospel so that individual people can receive salvation. Also the church is to become involved in the improvement of society by advocating biblical principles which militate against poverty, racism, violence, and all forms of injustice against humankind.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">IX.  HUMAN SEXUALITY</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">God’s design is that man and woman either be joined together in a perpetual monogamous relationship or live in a single state.
