The Concrete Foreman will report to the General Superintendent and should have 2+ years of experience in concrete work, with a focus on sidewalks, ADA ramps, and small flatwork. This role requires the ability to read blueprints and manage job sites efficiently. Concrete Finishers should have hands-on experience placing, smoothing, and finishing concrete for sidewalks, ADA ramps, and minor flatwork using a variety of hand and power tools. All positions will work on job sites throughout Central PA and Northern MD.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Please note that this position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with Kinsley Construction policies and procedures.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: bold\"><em>CONCRETE FOREMAN</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Check forms to ensure they are properly set for sidewalks, ADA ramps, and small flatwork.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Set and align forms to the required grade, pitch, and depth.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Install reinforcing rebar or wire mesh as needed.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Place, spread, level, and finish concrete using hand and power tools (screeds, floats, and trowels).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Form and finish edges, joints, and surfaces to meet ADA and project specifications.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Apply curing and sealing compounds as needed.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Follow all safety guidelines and jobsite procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Interpret blueprints and project plans.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Plan and coordinate materials, tools, and equipment for daily work.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Responsible for completing daily timesheets and maintaining daily logs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Effectively lead, manage and motivate crews of 5 to 6 individuals.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: bold\"><em>CONCRETE FINISHERS</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Check the forms that hold the concrete to see that they are properly constructed</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Set the forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth and align them</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Install reinforcing rebar or mesh wire to strengthen the concrete</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Spread, level and smooth concrete using rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or power screed and float</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Monitor how the wind, heat, or cold affects the curing of the concrete throughout the entire process to ensure a durable, smooth and uniform finish</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Produce rough concrete surface using broom</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Mold expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointers and straightedge</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Signal truck driver to position truck to facilitate pouring concrete and move chute to direct concrete.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Operate power vibrator to compact concrete.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Ensure adherence to safe work practices and procedures</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);
