    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span><i>First Solar reserves the right to offer you a role most applicable to your experience and skillset.</i>&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p>Basic Job Functions:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage all calibrations within the facility and ensure that systems are implemented and maintained.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Execute inspection procedures for the validation of incoming material.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Education/Experience:</p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>High School Diploma or GED required.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Candidates must meet one of the following criteria to qualify:&nbsp;</span>\n  <ul>\n   <li><span>5 years of manufacturing experience <strong>OR</strong> 2 years of Calibration experience,</span></li>\n   <li><span>Associates degree in a technical discipline or equivalent post-secondary studies <strong>AND</strong> 2 years of manufacturing experience <strong>OR</strong> 1 year of calibration experience,</span></li>\n   <li><span>Bachelors degree in a technical discipline <strong>AND</strong> 0-2 years manufacturing experience.</span></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><span>2 years of experience within ISO 9001 (or equivalent) Quality System desired.</span></li>\n <li><span>ASQ Certification desired (CQI, CQA, CQT, CCT).</span></li>\n <li><span>Certifications from Polyworks, Zeiss, and Omnex desired.&nbsp;</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Required Skills/Competencies:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Behavioral:&nbsp; &nbsp;</li>\n <li>Be a self-starter.</li>\n <li>Be collaborative.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Be safe.</li>\n <li>Be agile.</li>\n <li>Be innovative/entrepreneurial.</li>\n <li>Be focused on results.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Refer to \"Operation/Production\" competencies.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Technical:</li>\n <li>Basic understanding of electronic devices.</li>\n <li>Basic understanding of thermal equipment.</li>\n <li>Experience with calibration system requirements.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Experience using micrometers, gage blocks, and other handheld inspection tools.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Basic inspection methods for production type parts.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret product and tool blueprints.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) operation experience.</li>\n <li>FARO operation experience.</li>\n <li>Proven communications skills.&nbsp;</li>\n <li><span>Proficient use of all Microsoft Office programs.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Essential Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Complete assignments and projects as directed, with minimal supervision.</span></li>\n <li><span>Complete all the calibrations on time and with proper documentation.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Maintain calibration procedures and records per company policy.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Define and implement corrective actions on devices that are out of calibration.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Perform inspections of incoming material, using provided metrology.</span></li>\n <li><span>Release material in the inventory system after completing the inspections.</span></li>\n <li><span>Quarantine and investigate any nonconforming incoming materials.</span></li>\n <li><span>Assist in module inspections when needed.</span></li>\n <li><span>Conduct effective communications and foster team building.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Interface with other departments and locations.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Adhere to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards.</span></li>\n <li><span><i>Other duties as assigned.</i></span></li>\n <li><span><i>Job description subject to change at any time.</i></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Reporting Relationships:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>This position will report to a Quality Engineer.</li>\n <li>This position will not have direct reports.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Travel:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>0%-5% (On occasion/as needed for training, etc.)</li>\n <li>If hired during plant start up, you will be expected to travel to other First Solar locations for training.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Estimated Salary Range:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>17.84 - 25.00, Hourly</li>\n</ul>\n<p>US Physical Requirements:&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Will sit, stand, or walk short distances for up to 12 hours per day.</li>\n <li>Will climb stairs or steps on a frequent basis.</li>\n <li>Will lift up to 58 pounds on an occasional basis, according to work instruction.</li>\n <li>Will lift up to 37 pounds on a frequent basis.</li>\n <li>Will push or pull up to 50 pounds of force on an occasional basis.</li>\n <li>Will push or pull up to 37 pounds of force on a frequent basis.</li>\n <li>Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis.</li>\n <li>20/40 vision in both eyes (with or without correction) and the ability to distinguish between red, yellow, and green is required.</li>\n <li>May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis.</li>\n <li>May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis.</li>\n <li>Must comply with all safety standards and procedures.</li>\n <li><span>Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including, but not limited to: steel-toed shoes, cut-resistant gloves, jackets, aprons &amp;/or arm guards, safety glasses or goggles, hearing protection &amp;
