    "description": "<p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p>The Building and Grounds Maintenance associate is responsible for maintaining the GMP and professional appearance of the internal and external areas of the facility. The Building and Grounds Associate will be responsible for working efficiently individual as well as in a team setting.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Responsible for maintaining excellent GMP/SQF standards as well as excellent safety standards.</li>\r\n\t<li>Lawn/Yard Maintenance &ndash; includes mowing, weeding, trimming, leaf removal, basic building maintenance, etc.</li>\r\n\t<li>Indoor facility maintenance &ndash; trash pick-up, break room and bathroom cleaning, office cleaning/front office cleaning, basic building maintenance tasks, etc.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist with physical office related moves which include assembly, dismantling, and discarding of furniture and partitions, and moving of supplies and materials.</li>\r\n\t<li>Track and maintain inventory related to safety PPE (ear plugs) in coordination with the Safety and Compliance Manager.</li>\r\n\t<li>Track and maintain inventory related to cleaning supplies in coordination with the Safety and Compliance Manager.</li>\r\n\t<li>May be required to use/operate a forklift for trash bin relocation.</li>\r\n\t<li>The individual is required to wear safety glasses, safety appropriate footwear, safety vest and ear protection in production area and when operating certain equipment.</li>\r\n\t<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>POSITION QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Accountability: The extent to which an individual is willing to accept responsibility.</li>\r\n\t<li>Accuracy: The extent to which an individual&rsquo;s work is correct and accurate within company policies and guidelines.</li>\r\n\t<li>Adaptability: The extent to which an individual can fit into a changing work environment.</li>\r\n\t<li>Effective Communication Skills: Oral &amp; Written</li>\r\n\t<li>Organized: The ability of the individual to be structured.</li>\r\n\t<li>Problem Solving: The ability to recognize courses of action which can be taken to handle problems or potential problems.</li>\r\n\t<li>Safety Awareness: The ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Standing-Walking-Reaching Outward-Reaching above Shoulder-Climbing-Crawling-Squatting-Kneeling- and bending.</li>\r\n\t<li>Vision (Near, Distance, Peripheral, Depth Perception)</li>\r\n\t<li>Sense of Touch</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to Lift to 50 Pounds Occasionally.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Hearing protection, safety glasses, safety toe shoes)</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n",
