They are responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Develop, implement, and administer projects upon release of orders from Sales.</li><li>Coordinates Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing teams to develop drawings and fabrication schedules in &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;accordance with customer and contract requirements.&nbsp;</li><li>Effectively schedules incoming orders to ensure scheduled delivery dates are met.</li><li>Transfers orders between company plants as appropriate.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintains records control to assure organized and accurate records retention.</li><li>Manages scope changes, change orders, credit memos, and customer complaints.</li><li>Monitors job status on a daily basis.</li><li>Provides accurate order status information as required.</li><li>Develops and maintains relationships with suppliers.</li><li>Resolves complicated customer issues with little or no assistance.</li><li>All other duties as assigned by management.</li></ul><p><strong>Education&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>4-year degree, preferably in Engineering.&nbsp;</li><li>Master’s degree in Engineering/ MBA is preferred.</li></ul><p><strong>Experience&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>5 years progressive experience in Project Management or Production Management.</li><li>Minimum of 10 years manufacturing industry experience in construction, steel, and / or manufacturing industries.</li><li>Kaizen, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing experience a plus.</li></ul><p><strong>Interpersonal Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Must possess solid communication skills, including the ability to write in a clear and concise manner</li><li>Must be able to resolve conflict, both internal and external, when it occurs.</li><li>Must demonstrate leadership including inspiring trust, mentoring, motivating, and positive reinforcement</li><li>Must possess solid negotiating skills</li><li>Must maintain a positive attitude and must facilitate teamwork</li></ul><p><strong>Technical Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical data, including technical drawings</li><li>Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions</li><li>Computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite and functional knowledge of ERP systems (Syteline)</li><li>Superior analytical skills&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Other Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to effectively plan and organize multiple projects concurrently</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>High standard of personal integrity</li><li>Skilled at influencing worker behavior</li><li>Ability to maintain professional partnerships with customers and coworkers</li><li>The ability to follow direction or instruction</li><li>Ability to travel on company business up to 25%</li></ul><p><u><strong>Schedule: </strong></u>&nbsp;Monday-Friday 7am-4pm</p><ol><li><strong>Disclaimer</strong></li></ol><p>This job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
