Our exceptional quality is driven by a deep investment in and the daily practice of continually improving our people, processes, and products.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: 1;\"><strong>About the Opportunity:</strong> CNC Machinist- Level I</p><p style=\"line-height: 1;\"><strong>Location: Morton, Illinois&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"line-height: 1;\"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"line-height: 1;\">Performs set-ups and operates CNC machines and related equipment where programs, fixtures, and methods have been developed.</li><li style=\"line-height: 1;\">Makes all edits and adjustments as required to produce parts to work orders/blueprint specifications/sketches.</li><li style=\"line-height: 1;\">The ability to operate more than one machine in a cellular environment is required.</li><li style=\"line-height: 1;\">Demonstrates a working knowledge of feeds and speeds and a working knowledge of cutting tools and their application.</li><li style=\"line-height: 1;\">Inspects work for all dimensional features as required.</li><li style=\"line-height: 1;\">Produces quality and quantity of work in accordance with Company requirements.</li><li style=\"line-height: 1;\">Responsible for accurately completing paperwork relating to counts, scrap, time, etc according to Company policy.</li><li style=\"line-height: 1;\">Performs duties always exercising good machining practices.</li><li style=\"line-height: 1;\">Maintains area, equipment, and tooling in a neat, orderly condition including operator maintenance sheets.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"line-height: 1;\">Maintains coolant tanks and fills as necessary.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"line-height: 1;\">Assists new and less experienced operators as requested.</li><li style=\"line-height: 1;\">Observes all Company policies, rules, and regulations including good housekeeping, safety and security.</li></ul><p style=\"line-height: 1;\"><strong>Required Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"line-height: 1;\">High school diploma or equivalent</li><li style=\"line-height: 1;\">0-2 years CNC machinist experience</li><li style=\"line-height: 1;\">Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.</li><li style=\"line-height: 1;\">Ability to understand and interpret blueprints and sketches.</li><li style=\"line-height: 1;\">Basic mechanical ability.</li></ul><p style=\"line-height: 1;\"><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li style=\"line-height: 1;\">Experience with CNC machines and controls</li><li style=\"line-height: 1;\">Experience operating in a cellular manufacturing environment</li><li style=\"line-height: 1;\">Prior experience using precision measuring instruments</li><li style=\"line-height: 1;\">Exposure to aerospace or tight-tolerance manufacturing environments</li></ul><p style=\"line-height: 1;\"><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"line-height: 1;\">Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"line-height: 1;\">Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"line-height: 1;\">Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"line-height: 1;\">Personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses and safety shoes) is required on the shop floor</li><li style=\"line-height: 1;\">Occasional weekend and evening work may be required to accommodate priorities, deadlines, and schedules.</li></ul><p style=\"line-height: 1;\"><strong>Acknowledgements:&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"line-height: 1;\">The above job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position.
