Submissions or responses that appear AI generated may be considered misaligned with our evaluation standards.\n\n POSITION SUMMARY: \nThe Data Team Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily activities of the data analysis team involved in designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting data warehouse systems and projects. The role ensures that data reporting, data modeling, and data related projects run efficiently, supporting organizational objectives and maintaining data quality. The supervisor also acts as the primary point of contact for all data reporting, analytics, and database support needs.\n\n PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: \n\n Data Management and Supervision: \n\n Provide leadership and oversight in the full lifecycle of data warehouse projects, from planning and design to implementation and support.\n Supervise a team of Data Warehouse Analysts and Database Administrators, ensuring that workloads are appropriately balanced and deadlines are met.\n Establish and maintain auditing processes to ensure data accuracy and quality across all data warehouses.\n\n Technical Solution Development: \n\n Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions for data reporting and analytics.\n Develop, create, and modify query based dashboards, reports, KPIs, and advanced analytics to support decision making across the organization.\n Stay current with advancements in data warehousing, business intelligence (BI) technologies, and analytics to bring innovative solutions to the team.\n\n On Call and Technical Support: \n\n Be available for on call support as assigned by the manager, providing prompt assistance to resolve data reporting and database related issues.\n Provide technical advice, assistance, and training to users, helping them understand and utilize data reporting tools effectively.\n\n Documentation and Best Practices: \n\n Document and maintain standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and technical documentation for the data warehouse team.\n Ensure that best practices for data management, storage, and retrieval are followed across all data warehouse projects.\n\n Additional Responsibilities: \n\n Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the department’s and organization’s goals.\n\n Requirements\n\n KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:\n\n Data Warehousing and BI Expertise: \n\n Extensive knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence (BI) technologies, including Power BI and SQL querying.\n Proven ability to develop and maintain complex dashboards, reports, and alerts, as well as to create requirement specifications, technical designs, and user training documents.\n\n Communication and Team Leadership: \n\n Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and provide clear instructions to team members.\n Demonstrated leadership skills, with a history of managing teams and mentoring team members to achieve their full potential.\n\n Project and Time Management: \n\n Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while meeting deadlines in a fast paced environment.\n Strong time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure to resolve issues and meet service level agreements (SLAs).\n\n Customer Service Orientation: \n\n Ability to deliver exceptional customer service, responding promptly to requests for assistance and providing support that aligns with user needs.\n\n Continuous Learning: \n\n A commitment to staying updated on industry trends and new technologies related to data analytics and BI.\n\n CREDENTIALS & EXPERIENCE:\n\n Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field required; equivalent experience may be considered. \n 7+ years of experience in a data focused technology role, with heavy exposure to SQL server databases and Power BI (or similar tools) \n Previous experience in a supervisory or management role required.\n\n Benefits\n\n NOTE: This position pays between $90,000.00 100,000.00 per year, plus bonus potential. \n\n BENEFITS \n\n Medical Insurance\n Vision Insurance\n Dental Insurance\n 401(k) Matching\n Flexible Spending Accounts\n Health Savings Accounts\n Disability & Life Insurance\n Employee Assistance Program\n LegalShield\n ID Shield\n Commuter Reimbursement Plan\n Tuition Reimbursement \n Bonus Pay This position falls under our “Corporate Bonus Plan” which entitles you to a potential bonus payout of up to 10% of your annual salary as an annual bonus, if offered employment.\n\n ADDITIONAL BENEFITS INCLUDE: \n\n Wellable membership \n Telescope Health (telehealth) through Accresa\n Intellect (mental health) application\n Employee engagement activities, including voluntary events, raffles, book club, and more!"
