Our internship is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students in their penultimate or final year of study. We offer ongoing internship opportunities throughout your studies where suitable, with potential for extension depending on performance and business needs. We are  seeking  an enthusiastic and driven  Sales Intern  to support our business development and client engagement efforts. This internship offers hands-on exposure to the full sales lifecycle within a consulting environment. You will work closely with experienced consultants and sales leaders, gaining practical experience in  identifying  opportunities, building client relationships, and supporting the delivery of proposals. At Antares, we invest in your growth. You will receive mentoring and career coaching from senior staff to help you define your goals, build commercial acumen, and develop the professional skills  required  for a successful career in sales and consulting. Please note, this role is  only open to candidates living in or around Sydney, and you  must be able to work on Wednesday and Thursdays as these are our office days. Key Responsibilities Support the sales team in  identifying  and qualifying new business opportunities Assist  in market research and lead generation activities Help prepare client proposals, presentations, and sales materials Participate in client meetings and take notes on key discussions and actions Maintain and update CRM systems with  accurate  client and pipeline information Collaborate with delivery teams to understand service offerings across Data & AI, Application Development, and Modern Workplace Assist  in coordinating outreach campaigns and follow-ups with prospective clients Contribute ideas to improve sales processes and client engagement strategies Preferred Skills and Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field Students in years 2-4 of a bachelor’s degree or any year of a relevant postgraduate degree are preferred Strong interest in sales, consulting, or business development Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Confidence in engaging with stakeholders and presenting ideas Strong organisational skills and attention to detail A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take initiative Basic understanding of the technology landscape (e.g. cloud, data, or software solutions) is  advantageous  but not  required What You Will Gain: Hands-on experience in B2B sales within a consulting environment Exposure to real client engagements and commercial decision-making Mentorship from experienced sales and consulting professionals Development of core sales skills including communication, negotiation, and relationship building Insight into technology consulting across multiple domains Flexible working arrangements (hybrid options) Potential pathway to full-time employment upon successful completion of the internship A supportive, inclusive, and high-performing team environment
