With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.</p>\n<p><strong>Role description:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>This is a dynamic role that directly works with one of Arcadis high-profiled automotive programs, so we are seeking a highly experienced Design Manager who has deep project experience focused on leading and coordinating multi‑disciplinary engineering design efforts, particularly automotive, industrial, office, and commercial developments in the Novi/Detroit, Michigan area.&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p><strong>This role is client-facing, so regular travel to the client’s project site will be required.&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Come Join Arcadis!&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Role accountabilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Role accountabilities:</strong>&nbsp;<strong>Coordinating with internal and external architects, engineers, designers, consultants, and managers to align strategic objectives and progress</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Spearheading strategic pursuits, creating winning delivery strategies, and developing fee projections to achieve the financial targets of the business, and creating the most advantageous delivery approach</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Taking responsibility for financial and project management controls, which enable monitoring, modification, and forecasting as appropriate&nbsp;</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Managing the acquisition, deployment, and optimization of resources for the project &nbsp;</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Driving timely service delivery, including technical and commercial outcomes, and undertaking reviews, ensuring delivery is above client expectations.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Effectively implement design delivery best practice, including risk and change management, project set-up, and planning using internal and external digital technologies</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Able to quickly understand specified project scopes and develop project plans of execution for a variety of Design and Engineering service deliveries.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Ability to effectively deliver client presentations, prepare written reports, and communicate technical concepts, specifically around scoping requirements and risk</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>8 or more years’ relevant design experience, leading or being part of large multi-disciplinary design-engineered solutions and construction projects</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Experience working with projects that utilize Fundamental knowledge of Autodesk Platforms: Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or Building Information Modelling (BIM) engineered solutions</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Obtain Certified Project Management (CPM) certification status within 30 days of hire. The company provided training with employment</strong></li>\n <li><strong>BA in Architecture or Engineering-related fields focused on the built environment</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Preferred certifications sections. (PE, RA, PMP)</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Practical Sustainability experience.
