Monday - Thursday, 6am-4:30pm, OT available.   Paid time off, paid holidays and full benefits.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Salary: $25 - 40/hr</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Interpret blueprints, CAD files, and engineering drawings to create accurate CNC programs.</li>\n <li>Perform proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories to be used on projects</li>\n <li>Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs for:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Hypertherm plasma cutting systems</li>\n   <li>Kitamura 4-axis milling machines</li>\n   <li>Traditional turret punches and press brakes</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Set up machines, verify tool paths, and conduct trial runs to ensure parts meet Selux quality standards.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot programming and machining issues to maintain production efficiency.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with engineers, production supervisors, and machinists to optimize processes and reduce waste.</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate documentation of programs, machine setups, and revisions.</li>\n <li>Recommend improvements in programming methods, tooling, and machining strategies.</li>\n <li>Carry out production, inspection and machine operation duties</li>\n <li>Effectively monitor production equipment</li>\n <li>Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management</li>\n <li>Ensure that every machine procedure is done in accordance with the guidelines</li>\n <li>Practice and follow safety protocols</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Proven experience in CNC programming for plasma cutters, milling machines, and press brakes.</li>\n <li>Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Mastercam, or similar).</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of G-code and machine-specific programming languages.</li>\n <li>Experience with 4-axis milling and multi-axis setups.</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.</li>\n <li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of material properties, metal fabrication, and machining processes.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of machine maintenance and operation; working with gauges/calipers</li>\n <li>Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints</li>\n <li>Ability to lift 50 pounds</li>\n <li>Team oriented and self directed</li>\n <li>Committed to quality, safety and communication</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Company Website</h2>\n<p>https://www.selux.us/</p>\n<h2>Company Profile</h2>\n<p><strong>Employ­ment</strong>Selux Cor­po­ra­tion has a suc­cess­ful track record of tremen­dous growth and sus­tain­abil­ity as a world-wide man­u­fac­turer of archi­tec­turally designed lumi­naires, nes­tled right here in the Hudson Valley.
