Uniquely positioned in our ability to produce large central systems for an entire plant down to individual filters for a single cutting machine on the floor, our proprietary filtration and cooling technologies come second to none.</p><p>The Maintenance Technician will install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems following specifications, blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings, using hand tools, power tools, hoist, crane and measuring and testing instruments.</p><p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunctions and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Dismantle defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Make departmental rearrangements</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Repair and maintain building systems including water, compressed air, heating and air conditioning</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Repair and maintain physical structure of establishment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Build and repair counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Requisition of material and supplies to complete repairs and installations</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Follow all Barnes company policies and procedures diligently and effectively</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned</li></ul></div><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Associates Degree or equivalent or four to six years building and equipment maintenance experience and/ or training or equivalent combination of education and experience</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
