We value lateral moves as much as vertical promotions; we believe all roles should develop your skills, broaden your experience, and help you continue on a journey to build a rewarding career at ZTR.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You’ll be Doing</span></p>\n<p>As the<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> Field Service Engineer – Electrical </span>you will be joining our talented support team and providing quality technical support to our customers by troubleshooting PLC based solutions, and occasionally travelling to our customer sites to perform commissioning and installation of our equipment.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">As a Field Service Engineer - Electrical, you will:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Program, configure and troubleshoot ZTR locomotive operation, products, and solutions</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide excellent Customer Service and Support in both field and telephone support</li>\n<li>Travel to customer sites for commissioning &amp; installation of ZTR equipment</li>\n<li>Provide on-site technical training and presentations to customers</li>\n<li>Perform sales support and project management tasks as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Minimum Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mandatory Requirement: Two year or Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or Electrical Engineering degree</li>\n<li>Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience</li>\n<li>Experienced with PLCs</li>\n<li>Ability to read electrical schematics</li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal and customer service skills for a variety of audiences</li>\n<li>Ability to work autonomously at customer sites and manage project scope &amp; cost</li>\n<li>Exceptional organizational and data entry skills required for related administrative tasks</li>\n<li>Ability to travel up to 25% to customer sites for on-site commissioning and/or installation of ZTR equipment</li>\n<li>In possession of a valid passport or visa to travel to the United States as a Canadian worker as per CUSMA agreements</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Please apply even if you don’t qualify for all responsibilities or skills, we want to still hear from you!</em></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why Choose ZTR?</span></p>\n<p>At ZTR, we continuously promote a healthy balance between work, fun and family.
