    "description": "<h2> </h2>\n<p>The safety and security of our team members and campus is our number one priority. The Security Officer I plays a pivotal role in our layered approach to security by controlling access to our campus space and providing elite service to our fellow team members, clients, and guests.</p>\n<h2>WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Controls access to our campus space by verifying badges and issuing badges.</li>\n <li>Monitors cameras to proactively protect our space.</li>\n <li>Uses Metal Detectors to screen for weapons.</li>\n <li>Uses common computer programs such as Outlook, Excel, and the Internet to complete tasks.</li>\n <li>Conducts patrols and provides services to team members both on foot and in a vehicle.</li>\n <li>Communicates with fellow team members to identify and respond to several types of non-emergency and emergency situations with a focus on de-escalation.</li>\n <li>Identifies and report hazards.</li>\n <li>Responds to and appropriately documents security related incidents around campus.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU</h2>\n<p><strong>Must Have Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work one of the following shifts based upon need: 5am-2pm, 7am-4pm, 1pm-10pm, or 10pm-6am.</li>\n <li>High School Diploma.</li>\n <li>Meet physical needs of the job.</li>\n <li>Must demonstrate good moral fitness and ethical standards.</li>\n <li>Outstanding verbal and nonverbal communication skills with a focus on de-escalation. </li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to write incident reports.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability make independent and sound decisions under stress while adhering to established policies and procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Nice to Have Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>CPR certified</li>\n <li>Prior security experience</li>\n <li>Previous military or law enforcement experience</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>THE PLACE & THE PERKS</h2>\n<p>Ready to join thousands of talented team members who are making the dream of home ownership possible for more Americans?
