Must have good attention to detail and accustomed to working and measuring to close tolerance and delicate parts. Responsible for maintaining work quality and doing in process inspection while maintaining corporate values.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Duties and responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Setup, adjusts and operates reciprocating or rotary wheel table type surface grinders on more than one machine at a time.&nbsp;</li><li>Work must conform to exacting tolerances with allowances made for effects of temperature and aging of materials.&nbsp;</li><li>Able to perform shop math and calculations as necessary to complete assigned tasks.&nbsp;</li><li>Know different tooling to perform at maximum efficiency&nbsp;</li><li>Cleans machine and coolant tanks&nbsp;</li><li>Follow established company policies&nbsp;</li><li>Other duties as assigned&nbsp;</li><li>Perform frequent setups as required</li><li>Perform basic machine maintenance such as changing fluids and filters</li><li>Maintain a clean work environment and machine work area</li><li>Read process sheets and mechanical drawings</li></ul><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED/Technical Training Certificate/Equivalent experience</li><li>Work experience: 2- 4 years in grinding</li><li>Could require intermittent long periods of sitting, standing and/or walking</li><li>Periodic lifting of materials not to exceed 40 pounds</li><li>Intermediate skill level using surface, cylindrical, Blanchard, centerless and form grinders</li><li>Intermediate competency using micrometers, indicators, calipers, Indi-square</li><li>Willing to work beyond normal hours if needed</li><li>An understanding of both Metric and English measuring systems</li><li>Ability to understand blueprints</li><li>Ability to hold dimensional, parallel, perpendicular, and flatness tolerances&nbsp;</li><li>Experience using G &amp; M code</li><li>Ability to true-up grinding wheels</li><li>Previous experience grinding hard materials (glass, ceramics, carbides)&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Working conditions</strong></p><ul><li>Generally working in production environment.</li><li>Required exposure to industrial oils, coolants, solvents, lubricants, adhesive and other chemicals. &nbsp;NOTE: &nbsp; All safety precautions will be used.</li><li>Requirement for some independent actions and/or decisions is expected.</li><li>Some repetitive motion required on occasion.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Physical requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Required daily: periodic lifting of materials and parts weighing up to 50 lbs.</li><li>Required intermittent long periods sitting and standing.</li><li>Required to do repetitive work.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong id=\"isPasted\"><em>Arnold Magnetic Technologies is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected status or characteristic. &nbsp;Minority/Female/Sexual Orientation/General Identity/Disability/Veteran</em></strong></p><p><strong id=\"isPasted\"><em>#ROC</em></strong></p><p><br></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>B Shift:</strong></p><p>Mon-Thurs: 2:45pm-12:15am</p><p>Fri: 2:45pm-6:45pm</p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n<br/>B Shift:<br/>Monday-Thursday: 2:45pm-12:15am<br/>Fri: 2:45pm-6:45pm",
