This facility will treat a maximum flow of 320 MLD using a stacked, multi-story process designed to fit in a constrained site. The successful candidate will have a unique career-building opportunity to be directly engaged in construction, commissioning, and on-site problem solving for one of the region’s most significant infrastructure projects. Following the successful completion of this project, the successful candidate will be well-placed for lead roles on Stantec projects in the region and beyond.</p>\n  <p><strong>Your Key Responsibilities &nbsp;</strong></p>\n  <p><strong>Technical Leadership</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Lead and/or participate in meetings with client Operations &amp; Maintenance staff to identify and implement design optimization initiatives.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Coordinate work within a multidiscipline, multi-office, team environment requiring exceptional communication and organizational skills. &nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Participate in typical design meetings including: scope, engineering, design, specifications, PFD/P&amp;ID drawings, line list, tie-in list, equipment lists, controls, and HAZOP&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Coordinate the preparation, review, and approval of engineering design deliverables, Provide support to Commissioning, Start Up and turnover activities</li>\n   <li>Coordinate design deliverables among various technical disciplines for a major water or wastewater project.&nbsp;</li>\n  </ul>\n  <p><strong>Construction Support</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Liaise with the construction contractor, design consultants, and client’s technical staff&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Facilitate resolution of Contractor/Engineer/Owner issues related to quality and interpretation of design documents</li>\n   <li>Understand, communicate, and ensure compliance with contract requirements related to construction activities</li>\n   <li>Lead and participate in periodic project status meetings with the client, design consultants, and construction contractors.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Mentor junior engineers</li>\n  </ul>\n  <p><strong>Quality &amp; Client Service</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Review deliverables from a variety of consultants and communicate findings to the client.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Understand and interpret client expectations, standards and specifications.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Collaborate with the Owner’s team to implement and improve processes and workflows</li>\n   <li>Perform work in accordance with Stantec and client quality programs, as well as applicable codes and standards of the jurisdiction. &nbsp;</li>\n  </ul>\n  <p>&nbsp;</p>\n </div>\n <p><br>\n  &nbsp;<br>\n  &nbsp;</p>\n</div>",
