    "description": "<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Acuren is currently recruiting for QA/QC to support our operations in Austin, TX. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>the Quality Assurance and Quality Control Reviews all field reports from technician prior to submitting to clients. Uses superior analytical, and critical thinking skills to ensure that all client Pipeline Integrity Procedures have been adhered to and that all client specific reporting requirements have been met prior to final report submission to the client.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<li>Review reports and data from technicians and inspector for accuracy and compliance </li>\n<ul>\n <li>Tasks may be client specific </li>\n</ul>\n<li>Generating quality metrics for reporting </li>\n<ul>\n <li>Utilize customer rating systems to assign values </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Utilize progress tracking systems (internal and external) to provide up to date status of reports </li>\n</ul>\n<li>Technical support for Creaform system </li>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide hardware and software assistance with Creaform laser </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform data analysis from the Creaform laser for external corrosion and deformation </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist customer’s operations procedures questions </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Other work duties as assigned.  </p>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<p>The position requires sound knowledge and understanding in the following areas: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of NDT industry methods (MT, PT, UT)  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of client specific reporting needs </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of inline inspection data (tool data tat runs through pipelines) is a plus </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Coating and cathodic protection is a plus </li>\n</ul>\n<p>The position requires the following skills and abilities: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Industry software (e.g. Creaform Pipecheck) </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Technical writing skills </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Effective verbal communication skills </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong attention to detail to identify numerical and visual anomalies  </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION:</strong> </p>\n<p>The position requires high school diploma or equivalent as well as a minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality review capacity.
