More ways to build a career that moves you forward.\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Lube Technician position is an entry‑level automotive service role with openings at Bob Howard  Group 1 Automotive dealerships located in the Oklahoma City and Edmond areas.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance and basic inspections while delivering safe, efficient, and high‑quality service.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Lube Technicians play an important role in maintaining customer vehicles and supporting the service department by identifying basic maintenance needs.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The ideal candidate is dependable, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced dealership environment. This position offers hands‑on experience, on‑the‑job training, and opportunities for growth within the Bob Howard Auto Group.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform oil changes, fluid services, and routine vehicle maintenance efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards</li>\n <li>Inspect vehicles for basic safety and maintenance items including tires, brakes, belts, hoses, and filters</li>\n <li>Rotate tires and check/adjust tire pressures</li>\n <li>Document all services performed and inspection findings accurately</li>\n <li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area</li>\n <li>Road-test vehicles when necessary to verify completed work</li>\n <li>Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures</li>\n <li>Provide timely updates to service advisors regarding vehicle status and recommended services</li>\n <li>Participate in ongoing training to expand technical knowledge and skill set</li>\n <li>Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>\n <li>Valid driver license.    </li>\n <li>Basic understanding of automotive systems (engine, brakes, tires, fluids)</li>\n <li>Ability to perform routine maintenance services, including:</li>\n <li>Oil and filter changes</li>\n <li>Tire rotation and pressure checks</li>\n <li>Fluid checks and top‑offs (transmission, coolant, brake, power steering)</li>\n <li>Battery testing and replacement</li>\n <li>Visual inspections of belts, hoses, and filters</li>\n <li>Familiarity with basic hand and power tools</li>\n <li>Ability to follow manufacturer and shop service procedures</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<strong>In addition to competitive compensation, we offer:</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Hourly Pay Range: $16.00–$17.00 per hour</li>\n <li>Pay Type: Non‑exempt, hourly position</li>\n <li>Compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications </li>\n <li>Overtime: Paid in accordance with federal and state law for hours worked over 40 in a workweek.</li>\n <li>4 Day Work Week </li>\n <li>On-the-job training </li>\n <li>Latest equipment in the industry </li>\n <li>A path to become a master technician </li>\n <li>Health, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability insurance </li>\n <li>401(k) plan with company match </li>\n <li>Paid Time-Off </li>\n <li>Employee Stock Purchase Plan</li>\n <li>Employee Vehicle Purchase Program</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status.
